davieG Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Well I don't know about us but they seem to want a lot for him John Percy Stoke City responded to Sevilla’s “insulting” bid for Steven Nzonzi by proposing a cheeky swap deal for £20million-rated midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak. Sevilla’s £3m offer for Nzonzi was instantly rejected last week and Stoke remain hopeful of persuading their player of the year to sign a new deal. But Stoke were so infuriated by Sevilla’s bid that they asked the Europa League winners to consider a straight swap for Krychowiak, who is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe. The Poland international is on the radar of both Manchester United and Arsenal and appears certain to leave Sevilla this summer. Stoke have received no response to their ambitious offer but are determined to demand at least £8million for Nzonzi, who has one year left on his contract.
Ashley Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 John Percy £3m bid agreed for Huth too. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/11695628/Leicester-City-launch-7-million-bid-for-Stoke-City-midfielder-Steven-Nzonzi.html
Frost Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 That would be superb. Really rate Nzonzi but have no clue why he'd come here when he's chasing European football, though we must think we have a decent chance?
matty98 Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Great news, John Percy is normally pretty reliable too
Foxymcoxy Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Can't see them selling him to us but would be really good if we could get him. I'd settle just for wrapping Huth up though.
The Blur Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 John Percy £3m bid agreed for Huth too. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/11695628/Leicester-City-launch-7-million-bid-for-Stoke-City-midfielder-Steven-Nzonzi.html Would be very satisfied if we can get him for £4 million. I would love N'Zonzi here but it will not happen at all.
Number 6 Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Very good player but can't see him wanting to come here.
dbtcity Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Honestly cant think of a more dominant display I seen from an opposing midfielder at the kp last season than what I seen from nzonzi, would be absolutely buzzing if we signed him.... Unfortunately I think he will go to a bigger club expected to challenge for silverware
lgfualol Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Worth a bid but can't see him coming here. He will most likely join someone that finished higher than Stoke last season like Liverpool.
MPH Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Err what? As in the stoke city nzonzi? That's very ambitious.. It would be amazing if we got him... It might be a bit premature to say this, but I really hope we don't spend our summer chasing unrealistic targets only to be left with a few scraps at the end....
Simmsy Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 It's an ambitious attempt but it shows the calibre of player we are looking for. This is very promising, even if it doesn't come off it shows great intent. If it did come off it would be unbelievable, he's class.
Babylon Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Ambitious, don't mind us trying... but probably doomed to fail.
Danno Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Cambiasso and Nzonzi in the middle no point in the opposition turning up.
conLAD logan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 He's the midfielder we've all collectively cried out for on this forum for years. A physical presence in midfield is a must. Get it down nige! And also let hopes more importantly huth signs.
VLC86 Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 He'll never come here I can only think of one rea$on he might be intere$ted to be hone$t.
