Basing this on the players in the first team which we currently possess,* which combination would you prefer to see play up top next season?

Two variations of formation: 4-4-2 and 5-2-1-2.

*minus Chris Wood who will be leaving, we suspect.

Vardy and Ulloa were brilliant during the run in, I think we have to stick with them to begin with, however we've got to be ruthless if they're not performing, if a striker isn't playing well after 2 or 3 games they're out.

Agree with this. More often than not, a new signing has to wait for their chance to break into the team. Great to have such strength in depth up front.

Although we still have all of pre-season to go. No doubt NP will be trying different combinations in friendlies and watching them closely in training. I doubt even he knows for certain who will start against Sunderland.

There's too many choices it's like the election all over again!

Mahrez behind Vardy and Ulloa first game for me if they're fit enough.

But if say Kramaric or Okazaki have a great pre season they'll probably get the first game

Ulloa is a must - when he is fit and Albrighton or Fuchs are playing. His defending on set pieces is a huge bonus.

If 3-4-1-2, then I'd say give Okazaki a go with Ulloa if we're playing Albrighton and Fuchs as wing-backs. And then Mahrez in the hole. Krama as second choice for that position. Krama (for either up front or in the hole) and Vardy as subs.

(If Schlupp/De Laet is starting as a wing-back ahead of Fuchs/Albrighton, then I'd say start Krama and Ulloa upfront. If both, then Krama and Vardy.)

If 4-4-2 (preferably with Mahrez on a wing), then I'd say Vardy starts with Ulloa. Krama and Okazaki as subs.

Nuge is 5th choice now, and 3nd choice for playing behind the strikers (2nd if Krama upfront though). I think it would be understandable for him to leave in January if we're doing well by then. King and Lawrence can always play that CAM role if needed there.

Ulloa should be the first striker on the teamsheet.

In a 3-4-3 he should be partnered by Vardy & Okazaki/Kramaric.

In a 3-4-1-2 it should be Mahrez behind Ulloa & Vardy/Okazaki.

Can't see Nugent featuring much if he stays, wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't make the bench in quite a few games.

I'd be very surprised if Pearson does not at least start with Ulloa, Vardy and Mahrez who got us over the line in a good run of form last season! Okazaki will likely be broken in with a few performances off the bench, meaning I can more likely see Kramaric starting out of the remaining options but it will probably be Ulloa, Vardy and Mahrez.

I'd start with Ulloa and Vardy, my gut feeling is that Okazaki/Ulloa will be our most useful partnership. But we'll need all of them to do their bit and we won't really know until we see Okazaki alongside each of the other three.

Voted Vardy/Ulloa or Vardy/Ulloa/Mahrez, didnt think it would be the popular vote in all honesty.

As mentioned above, its got to be this to start off with whilst working Okazaki and Kramaric into the team when appropiate.

I'm struggling to see Kramaric playing a lot, it'll be Vardy, Ulloa and Shinji that'll start often I think, however Wood will go and possibly Nugent.

Lots of options.

Kramaric or mahrez in the hole. Vardy, Ulloa and okazaki fighting out for the 2 starting places. Given sub's all 5 could feature most games anyway.

Nugent, Vardy and Okazaki just to tire opponents out with constant running.

See how preseason goes but I'll imagine it'd be much the same side that finished last season, assuming cambo stays!

I can't really vote on this until I see what type of midfield we have and know what type of game we will be playing. Too many 'If we'' questions spring to mind so apologies without knowing I can't really vote as I don't think we should build our strategy around strikers, I think we should pick our strikers based on the strategy

Mahrez should be more close to the main midfield than with the strikers, as he is not physique enough but he runs fast and is skilful.
