I'm going to Thailand next week, so if anybody spots me at the airport and I then appear on the betting exchanges, just so your all in the know, I'm NOT going for an interview for the managers job, so don't lump on.

It's almost laughable with the bookies making money from gulable supporters slashing the odds on all and sundry since Pearson was dismissed last week we've been linked with klopp,Hiddink etc etc etc slashing the odds on a daily basis I wonder when they'll slash the odds on the Ostrich??

But another name pops int the equation then the next day they slash the odds as if to get punters to think they really know who the next boss is !!

It's so fooking frustrating so from now on I'm not going to bother checking out who it is until they are officially announced totally fed up with the bullshit rumours and the bookies slashing the odds every day the only name they haven't linked with the Leicester hot seat is Bernie !! ;)

i am hoping that the laudrupp odds shortening in places means something....god i hope so.

One thing I'm not going to do, is base anything on the odds... which seem to be the only bigger farce in football than sacking Pearson in the first place

Leicester City: Bob Bradley has not been contacted over manager's job

Leicester City have not made a move to recruit Bob Bradley as their next manager despite the former USA head coach being becoming the bookmakers' favourite.

Bradley is currently in charge of Stabaek, who are second in the Norwegian league.

The odds on him for the City job tumbled after his former assistant at Chivas in the MLS, Predrag 'Preki' Radosavljevic, stepped down from his role at Sacramento Republic FC on Wednesday night.

Preki stated he was set to take a job in the UK and 'test himself at the highest level'.

That sparked speculation that 57-year-old Bradley, who has been previously linked with Aston Villa, was set for the City job with Preki as his assistant.

But Inge Andre Olsen, sporting director of Stabaek, told the Mercury there had been no contact from City.

"We have heard nothing, but there has been a lot of rumours about Bob since he came here," he said.

"I am not surprised there is speculation because Bob has done a fantastic job here and he would do a great job in England, I am sure."

City appear to be no closer to naming Nigel Pearson's successor as, one by one, the bookmakers' favourites appear to fade away.

Bolton boss Neil Lennon was the early favourite but it is understood City had not made an approach for him as of early this week, when Wanderers headed out for a pre-season tour of Austria.

Guus Hiddink was believed to be the man City wanted but Dutch journalists say the 68-year-old is not interested, while Jurgen Klopp seems to have been a complete non-starter.

The only manager who has openly said he wants the job is former Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juventus and Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri.

Like Preki, Jocelyn Gourvennec of Guingamp is another outsider who has surprisingly come in at short odds for the job.

Although the City job is seen as a fantastic opportunity for most managers, it would appear City are taking their time in identifying a candidate they feel can build on the success of Pearson, who was sacked 10 days ago.
