  1. 1. Do you give Ranieri your backing?

  2. 2. Do you wish Nigel success?

    • Yes
    • I [don't] really want him to fail (unless he takes over Forest) but I can't fathom why anybody would want to see another team do well just because their manager used to manage Leicester
    • No
  3. 3. Are you happy with Ranieri's appointment?

I think the only way nige will be back in the Prem is if he gets another team promoted. I can't see a PL team appointing him.

What if Tony Pulis leaves WBA/gets sacked?

I wouldn't be surprised if he would be around the top of their candidate list if this situation happens.

Every supporter will back him as he is LCFC manager. The poll should really be are we happy with the appointment which, from my personal view would be a big fat NO

Then go and support forest, or win the euro millions lotto and pump your money back into LCFC.

These owners, not Pearson saved this club, made some unusual descisions. If they invested to expand the KP trademark

so what, their money kept LCFC Viable.

I am upset Pearson went, probably only one who supported him, on his so called blackouts, but the owners put their money,

their reputation on the table. So far since they have been here, they have made us, yes with Pearson into a top 14 PL club.

They could slip up, in their quest for Permanent PL football, but its their descisions I support, because so far they have

delivered.

I don't dispute that and I agree the owners have pumped a lot of money in the club all I'm saying is in my personal opinion it is a bad appointment.

Can't believe someone has said they won't back Ranieri. That's just ridiculous!

Of course I'll back the manager, but more importantly the team.

I hope Nige bags himself another chance in the Prem and shows everyone he is not a caricature but an excellent manager.

I do not think Ranieri was the right appointment and that he will be gone by the January transfer window.

He doesn't have my backing till he has proven that he can move us forward or at least makes a statement of such content. He is our manager, yet I have haven't heard him speak yet, no press conference with him being introduced by Top or anything. I want to know his plans before I back him. I.e. Squad overhauling plans would lead to my complete dismay at this whole debacle!

I still don't think Pearson should have been sacked, knowing him, I find it hard to see reasons why the Thais could sack him. I wish him well in the future and I am sure I will see him again soon.

Lastly do I agree with Ranieri? I will wait until I find or see better evidence to suggest he is better than Nige. Until then I shall bury my head in the sand like an ostrich, wake me up when the football season begins.

Welcome Claudio. I will always support LCFC and the manager. As for NP I don't care now that he has gone. It is a shame but it's happened and time to move on.

The new manager has my backing and I wish NP luck in his next venture. I'm a tad underwhelmed by the appointment but as I didn't interview the fella and have no idea what he intends at this point in terms of transfer budget and contacts and staff and tactics

, I'm fully willing to give him my full support.

I don't think the Thais had a lot of options. I think they wanted to appoint quickly so not to miss the transfer window and needed a reputable name who really wanted the job - I didn't see many other candidates fitting that criteria. They have made a business decision, and the new guy has most of a pre season and a transfer window no doubt with a few quid and a few ideas to boot.

Strap in. It's just like Alton Towers - you have that've blind faith in the mechanics but know that of course it could go wrong.

Up the city and back the new manager. We move on together.

Who wouldn't give the new manager their backing? Doesn't matter who it is, you have to give them a chance, they're here now and you have to hope they will do well. If you don't you take away your own enjoyment of supporting your team and it's just a bit bitter imo, regardless of what you think to Nigels sacking, it's done now, no changing it.

Do I wish Nigel success? Of course, he did wonders for us over what in this day and age is a huge period of time. He improved our club year on year over 5 full seasons, he was responsible for some of my best memories as a Leicester supporter. Just like I hoped Martin did well when he left and still follow him now I expect it will be the same with Nigel.

Am I happy with the appointment? Over all, yes. I do wish we still had Nigel, but that wish will never come true so sod it, I have to move on and get behind him. Given the names we've been linked with over the last few weeks he's arguably the strongest name there and the best manager available so I have to be happy, albeit slightly tinted with now being a bit more worried about what will happen to our club on the pitch; than I was thinking Nigel would be taking us in to the new season full of beans after the great escape.

Over all you have to be balanced, you have to accept what's happened and you have to be positive imo. Up the City.

Yes and Yes. But if I was owner of Leicester City Football Club and had the power to sack Ranieri and replace him with Nigel Pearson then I'd probably do it straight away, so I'm not that committed to the first one yet.

Jesus Christ he's like your first love.let him go.you will defiantly wear the shirt of who ever he manages next.its over Jonny.

Yes Ranieri has my 100% backing.

Yes I like Pearson and wish he had remained, but I dislike most other teams more, so I probably wouldn't want them to succeed even with him (especially forest, derby, leeds etc).

Can't really decide if I'm happy about his appointment.  I guess I'm happy we have a manager again so that's a start.  I need to see how things pan out over the next few weeks or months before I can say if I'm fully happy or not.  I would have voted indifferent if that option existed.

A third of your posts are about me, probably not wise for you to accuse anyone else of being obsessed with anyone.

Of course he gets my backing, after all football fans know nothing about picking the right guy for the job (Keegan for England, Holloway for Leicester etc etc) and it will be interesting to see how he adds to a solid squad.

Of course I wish Nigel all the best. He did AMAZING things for this club and repaired the damage done by Kelly, Hollow Words, Sven & Sousa. Where we are now is down to him and he'll get a new appointment before too long.

Do I agree with the Ranieri appointment? Mmmmmm, no I think his time's gone and his CV has a lot of question marks outside of Chelsea. I back him like I would any manager but I have visions of a Sven-like overspend and destruction of team spirit if things don't work out by January.
