I'm actually beginning to believe we'll get him.

It's increasingly looking like we'll be the only offer Inter accepts. I like their Friday deadline as well.

Our negotiating team will be able to sell the club and our ambitions to him. He's 26 and never earned mega money. He could sign a five year deal with us and it's worth £12.5m to him which will set him up for life. If it comes to a choice of going to Europe to play for us or staying in Brazil for 25% of our wages it doesn't look like a hard choice. Perhaps he'll want options like minimum fee release clause, etc?

I just think we'll get him providing some other club doesn't make an 11th hour move for him.

Hope so as well. DM saying Veretout is at Villa's Training ground along with someone else and Kante' is West Ham bound.

Need to get this one over the line. Imagine that.... 5 x your salary to kick a ball about and stay fit. One can dream!!!

No other club has matched our bid and he wont be sold for any less than what we've bid as they see it as losing money. So if he refuses our 'absurd' offer of 4.5 times his current wage (and 30% of the contract up front?!) there are no other parties involved. It now looks highly unlikely OM and BL will match our offer so it's a risk for him to turn our offer down as he may be left with no other options before the window shuts. We've made him an offer he cant refuse.

That is the most unhelpful summary ever dude.

minor than today... smaller than today. Today there has been more of an indication he will sign than any other day...

We got a youtube video of this fella pr what? I'm not sifting through 30 pages to find one. And if there isn't one then I can only assume that foxestalk has gone to the gutter recently.

From what I've seen of this guy then he looks what we need. A little untidy at times but does a good job, especially linking the back to front. And isn't afraid to put a challenge in.

But, without sounding a bit generalistic, I hope we don't see too much of the south American "been shot by a sniper" rolling around. I had enough of the from Leo last season

Let's treat him to a slap up meal at Grimsby Fisheries to seal the deal

And replace that plastic Hercules statue, with a golden Aranguiz.

Surely his agent wouldn't be flying all the way to Europe if they weren't interested?

I'd fly to ****ing Syria if I was getting 15% of 60k a week for three years for one client!

And me. I never, ever learn.

I'll have a lot more of a positive outlook if we pull this off. Whilst we appear desperate I think this would be a very good signing. There's every chance we could be having bids of double this for him in 12 months time.

It's the hope that kills you.  :D

Hopefully come Friday evening he's between a rock and a hard place. Either sign for Leicester for €15m or spend another season in Brazil as no one else is interested in you at that price. You're choice son, what's it going to be?

Send Tom Hopper and James Pearson to clinch the deal
