Gerard Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Send Tom Hopper and James Pearson to clinch the deal They'll take you out for a good night out if nothing else.
tom27111 Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 For those asking if he's any good and saying you've never heard of him, Tim Vickery, the South American football expert, raves about this guy. I've heard Vickery say that he's amazed that Aranguiz hasn't been snapped up by a top European side. Vickery is based in Brazil and what he doesn't know about football in South America isn't worth knowing. If he rates Aranguiz, that's more than good enough for me.
matty98 Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Just wanked him off for a fiver outside morrisons. he must be cumming then?
Dan Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Just wonder who the alternative is if we miss out here (which is still very much a possibility). Veretout all but Villa's and Kante seemingly not bothered. I doubt we will get anyone better than Aranguiz. I want this one now. There's a reason those clubs want him and there's a reason no-one says a bad word about him. I've seen some, but not loads of him and he does look good. Get it done. This would add some positivity to what has been a frankly embarrassing summer.
ronnup Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 If we get none of these three main targets it's time to start worrying.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 can wait for him to sign and be utter shit. He will be benched for Hammond by November #ITK
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 With N'Golo and Veretout apparently off the market, we HAVE to land this guy. Agents have got us over a barrel yet again.
CKB Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Just wonder who the alternative is if we miss out here Joey Barton.......
benpicko Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 What's the latest update? Basically this from today: @Zizouology: DIS director Roberto Moreno implies that it's practically impossible for Aránguiz to turn down Leicester City's wage proposal. @Zizouology: Moreno says Leicester offers surreal wages to Aránguiz. Important thing is, none of the reports say that he 'wants' to or 'will' accept it. "Sport1 reports of a break in the signing of Charles Aranguiz by Bayer Leverkusen . Leicester City offers 15M . Too much money for Bayer" Translation - Good day Transfer Window to Europe .. Only chance to be a turnaround in the case Aránguiz : player does not accept the wages of Leicester or another club point with 15M euros. So looking good. Though I'll get my hopes up and we still won't sign him.
Spudulike Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Should we sent his Mrs a bunch of flowers or summat
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Should we sent his Mrs a bunch of flowers or summat send the bitch her pet cats head wrapped in a city shirt with a pic of Wasyl "firmar o bien"
Stevosevic Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 I think there is a lot of pressure on the club getting this over the line.
4everfox Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 So how long does it take to fly from Brazil? Around 12 hours? If so and he flew out this morning then I'd expect an announcement by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.
Gerard Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 I think there is a lot of pressure on the club getting this over the line. I think they'll do what it takes. Maybe a smallish minimum release fee after a year to sweeten the deal. He doesn't want to think he'll spend his best years at Leicester. It's imperative we get him as it makes us more attractive for any other signing we may make and eases and doubts that we'll be in a relegation battle. Sign Aranguiz and we can buy another top class CM to play along side him and we're a mid table side if that happens.

st albans fox Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Assuming the agent hasn't just pocketed his fee and will next be seen somewhere in the Caribbean??
lgfualol Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 No doubt he'll come here and not be given international clearance.

If this guy is a replacement, or as some would argue an upgrade for EC, then another quality cm together with a squad enhanced by the perm signing of Huth, Fuchs and Okazaki from last seasons 14th place finish, we are good to go for a really positive season. Happy days! Fingers crossed.
Babylon Posted 30 July 2015 Author Posted 30 July 2015 More from his agent "I submitted a proposal to the Bayer Leverkusen Inter president. Negotiations began and the president asked to improve the offer. The value has risen. If Aranguiz from Inter, he will go to Leverkusen, period. " "My relationship with DIS is not bad. Except that guys do not understand football. They talk about values, but will not sign Aranguiz in Leicester .." said Cury for ESPN.
