glenelgfox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 We didn't / dont need poor result against a lower league team in pre-season - happy to cop a loss against European teams in friendlies and scrape through against lower league English teams. Lets hope the Squad is just applying a training attitude to this game and saving themselves for next week? Having said that when I posted this reply we were 2 zip down so to win 3-2 good result in the end.

You can see Prem teams exploiting that a fair bit, just something we'll have to get used to with the three at the back. Playing ok, getting the strike partnership right ASAP is going to be important this season.

From what I've heard we're creating a lot of chances but not putting any away and we've been hit by 2 incredible shots. Where does that say we need midfielders - surely it questions our attackers more than anything.
