Molly Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Well our midfield looked better without EC! Who'd have thought that?
The Doctor Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 I thought it was 'window licker'. Clever lad. Window licker, mouth breather, ineligible for the special Olympics due to being too disabled, your choice you twat.
Molly Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Fuchs in for De Laet next game I reckon. Window licker, mouth breather, ineligible for the special Olympics due to being too disabled, your choice you twat. That's not very nice
Danno Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Remember when people were moaning we didn't sign Defoe and Kaboul? .
johnny the fox Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Thought drinkwater had a great game...the old danny..
Babylon Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Stop asking for a left back to replace s right back.
SpacedX Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Window licker, mouth breather, ineligible for the special Olympics due to being too disabled, your choice you twat. Too easy. Good lad, yeah sleep well on that. Carry on. Back to point, errm, seven months to learn that it might possibly be prudent to deploy Albrighton down the right flank. Genius. 4-4-2 and spot on to do so. Called it before that we struggle with 3 on 3 up top and he countered it brilliantly. Credit to him today. +1
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Needs to be remembered though how Sunderland nearly scored at nil nil from a corner. Kasper did a good save and turned out to be vital. Could have been a different score

Back to point, errm, seven months to learn that it might possibly be prudent to deploy Albrighton down the right flank. Genius. +1 To learn the division, what formations work and what style of play works. But, it's not relevant to this, so why don't you grow up and stop acting like a pathetic child?
SpacedX Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 To learn the division, what formations work and what style of play works. But, it's not relevant to this, so why don't you grow up and stop acting like a pathetic child? My point related to ostracising Albrighton for two thirds of a season. Pot, kettle black Doc? Not sure I'd want to regress to this level... Window licker, mouth breather, ineligible for the special Olympics due to being too disabled, your choice you twat.
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 What is it with the Sunderland fans. Reading their forum, they've had threads about every thing weve done all summer and they seem to have a real dislike towards us. Not read such a hostile forum for a while. They genuinely thought we were going to be crap and would thrash us, and now they just bitch about our atmosphere. Since when do we have beef with them?
Foxhateram Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 What a performance that was! Fantastic. Looked dodgy at the back but if you score more than you concede, who cares. Shinji had a great game. Really like him. Maybe he can replace nuge after all? Need to see more though. Mahrez also had a great game. 2 goals and an assist is pretty impressive. Great game. Atmosphere was pretty good too. Fun joining in with the union fs chants from the corner.
FrankieADZ Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 brilliant performance today imo, good all round team performance, good to see the old Drinkwater back, Okazaki had a good debut(how the hell he god a 6 in the Mirror I do not know) and impressed with what I saw of Kante and Yohan B. promising stuff.
Raw Dykes Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 What a start to the season! Positives: Look great going forward. Just as energetic as last season, if not even more so. Mahrez looked world class. So silky. Superhuman. It can't be stated how important his new contract is. If he leaves, we'll be laughing all the way to the bank. S'land were very lucky to finish the game with 11 men, so we might have done even better on another day. Negatives: A bit shaky at the back. A few too many lucky moments - S'land should have been a goal or two up early on, Wes could have been sent off, Albrighton was offside for our 4th. I suppose they make up for the ref being lenient on the Mackems. All considered, I couldn't really have asked for a better start. It's great to start the season off with a win and such a dominant attacking display. We've set the benchmark high, and hopefully we can keep it up. I am a bit concerned that we haven't quite got the players for a flat back 4. I like RDL, and he's a great squad player, but I'm not sure if he's quite up to being 1st choice RB at this level. Wes is sort of borderline, and I think he'd be fine as part of a back three alongside better players. Yet to see whether Fuchs is good enough to be a 1st choice PL left back in a back 4. I think we'd look a lot more solid with a back 3 again, unless we can get a bit more quality in. There's still 3 weeks of the transfer window left, so hopefully we'll add a defender or two if we're going to play with 4 at the back, or go back to 3 if we don't. This is a fairly minor concern, though. We more than made up for our defensive frailties by being so impressive going forward today. S'land were pretty woeful, though. It will be interesting to see how we line up against the better sides in the league.

Since when do we have beef with them? They didn't like people saying we'd thrash them last year, but we thrashed them this year instead. They mockingly called us "Leicesterlona" last year... Quite apt after today.
enmac Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Was 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1 with Mahrez and Albrighton switching wings until we brought on Kante and switched to a 4-5-1.Agreed, as did Trevor Francis("ask Trevor"), who by the way praised CR BEFORE the game. To get to the point, I feel much less nervous with 3 5 2. I wouldn't play 4 at the back unless we get a high quality DM.
FoxesFourLife Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Nothing to do with the match its self but the metro made me laugh check out the poll at the bottomhttp://metro.co.uk/2015/08/08/leicester-city-produce-worst-match-programme-cover-ever-for-premier-league-fixture-against-sunderland-5332977/
ktfox59 Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 My highlight of the match. An Okazaki midfield challenge..with his head., about 2ft off the ground. . Fearless
enmac Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 DD gets "most improved player" award from me. Just for one pass-- first time, seemingly without looking up. Reminded me you know who. Cattermole , also probably was one of our better players.
SecretPro Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 I'm still buzzing. Could easily break the wanking wall tonight.
Leicesterpool Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 What a start all round, It's like last season never ended. I tell you what we must really scare the shit out of our opponents when we're attacking, It's so exciting to watch. Sunderland looked totally clueless at the back and by the looks of things last season for them hasn't ended either, there still crap. 4-2 doesn't tell the true story for me, we should have put away six. They were probably fortunate to score a couple themselves, our defending is still in need of a look at. Once again on us an all round great performance, well done Claudio a great start for yer mate. Bring on The Hammers!
SecretPro Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE A TINKER EMOTICON NOW PLEASE.
ramadaone Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Agreed, as did Trevor Francis("ask Trevor"), who by the way praised CR BEFORE the game. To get to the point, I feel much less nervous with 3 5 2.
