I don't care what people say he has been a great servant to LCFC and a model professional. Plays with a smile on his face and looks like he is actually enjoying him self. He has scored some very important goals and some crackers as well, his goal against Liverpool last season was stunning.

Yes he has been an important piece for the team while here, but 4mil is a great price for a player not likely to be in the top squad often, good for him to be a key piece at Boro and get regular game time and good for Boro in their push to promotion. I don't think any serious fan won't miss him and wish him well for all he did for us.

Top scorer for us year after year in the Championship, lots of assists. It's decent money for his age, but if he replicated his goals and assists for boro it would be money well spent for them.

High proportion of his goals were pens. Cant see him being one of the championships top scorers. PS. Anyone know why the Balotelli thread has been locked?

If he'd always taken pennos he'd probably have notched up 20+ goals every year for about the last 5 in the champ for us and Pompey. Deeney got 21 last year including three pennos, and people were bidding £10m+ for him. not long ago, same goes for several others down there.
