Aaaaaargh!

Bilic & MoTD  "it was dangerous play"  No it flicking wasn't!

It was either violent conduct or serious foul play - I suspect the latter, but there is no way it was dangerous play.

The only mention of "Dangerous play" in the laws of the game are in law 12 fouls and misconduct

And I quote

An indirect free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if, in the opinion of the referee, a player:

• plays in a dangerous manner

Also

A player must be penalised for playing in a dangerous manner if he kicks or attempts to kick the ball when the goalkeeper is in the process of releasing it

Playing in a dangerous manner

Playing in a dangerous manner is defined as any action that, while trying to play the ball, threatens injury to someone (including the player himself).

It is committed with an opponent nearby and prevents the opponent from playing the ball for fear of injury.

A scissors or bicycle kick is permissible provided that, in the opinion of the referee, it is not dangerous to an opponent.

Playing in a dangerous manner involves no physical contact between the players.

If there is physical contact, the action becomes an offence punishable with a direct free kick or penalty kick. In the case of physical contact, the referee should carefully consider the high probability that misconduct has also been committed.

End quote

These idiots are paid a fortune to manage and comment on something they have no clue about.

lol Christ. You need a beer.

The only teams I'm worried about are Chelsea and Man City. We're challenging this season without a doubt.

Costa and Hazard aren't good enough to polish Vardy and Shibji's boots.

Yea, ok!!  let's not get carried away.  I know you are joking (hope that is the case) But we lucky to have these unheralded but great players.  Vardy should be selected for the England team before Rooney and I am not joking!!

Great performance today, Vardy's pass for Shinji's goal was a thing of beauty!! Mahrez is on his way to being the greatest signing in club history. Very impressed with Drinkwater, he seems to have become comfortable on the ball at this level.

Other than us winning today, the sweetest moment was watching Norwich's third goal against Slumberland. If you get to see it pay attention to Cattermole's contribution, just awful, it left me howling!!! They gave him a FOUR year contract a few weeks ago . Probably figured he will be useful in League 1 in 18 months....... lol!!!!!!

Actually, it was a FIVE year contract.

We played brilliantly most of last season and lost. The difference is now, we have learnt how to win. Always had it in us. Keep it up Leicester.

A few on here despise my input on here....but i have to go back to what i said last season, and that it is very surprising how much players learn during pre-season after a single season in the top flight.

Drinky, mahrez and morgan in particular are far far more consistent in the opening two games that they were last year for instance, mahrez's improvement reminds me very much of lallana's after his first season.....although imo the algerian is far better player.

We were drab for many games last season, I remember matches for eg wba game, we were awfully drab. Do you remember the matches with no wide midfielders playing, the diomand shit. The difference I believe is that the attacking approach when we thought we were dead and buried has given us confidence and we have taken that into this season.

We were very unlucky not to get anything out of quite a few games though. I just love to see fast attacking football. Vardys never say die attitude is superb. England could do alot worse.

Difference between now and then are, the years experience, and the run at the end of the season also showed the players that when they are allowed to play with the shackles off, as they did, and had too, at the end of last season, they are a very capable side, that can cause problems for anyone, and beat most on their day.

Our problems last season in my opinion, were that we were always a bit cautious, for much of the season, trying to stay in games, rather than playing to our strengths of attacking with pace.

Vardy, Man utd apart, struggled for much of last season, because we werent playing to his strengths, as soon as we did, he became an England player!

Que?

Google translate....

"Leicester are top of the league, I never thought I'd hear Gary Lineker said that two weeks running . Well done blue foxes"

Mahrez is already at that stage. What a player. He would not like out of place at a top four side at the minute.

He is in a top four side at the minute. :P

We rode our luck at times but West Ham didn't create too much. Huth and Morgan were immense.

Zarate tore de laet apart first half, he was blaming mahrez but he was getting beat far too easy. I think we should have swapped albrighton and mahrez much quicker than we did.

Drinkwater was fantastic, he was everywhere. Okazaki brilliant first half.

Mahrez is greedy but he is full of confidence and always looks like he can do something every time he gets the ball.

lol I'd had one.

My point is that that managers and ex players are paid a fortune and haven't a clue what they are talking about.  I know it's hardly a shock but there you go.

Now off to ref a pre season friendly and have 22 tell me I dont know what I'm talking about because MoTD said...........................

Okazaki is quickly becoming what appears to be a great signing.

I totally expect him to be talked in the same vein as cambiasso in a short space of time.

Another quality midfielder, decent rb and we are well on the way to be a decent mid table side

Love it

We need a new right back. De Laet is a liability and Benny is a centre back that's capable as cover in that position.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us follow up the interest in Zappacosta.

I would, he signed for Torino a month ago.
