MPH Posted 20 August 2015 Posted 20 August 2015 Wrong!! No one is quicker than Wasilewski running to a fight. Fact Other than the people who see him coming and run from him...
shailen Posted 20 August 2015 Posted 20 August 2015 http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/aug/190815-matchweek2-in-numbers.html We're not even top five after the first two games, although that might be something to do with not having to do much running to beat Sunderland and West Ham having a fair chunk of the possession in their half. Fair enough, stats don't lie. Although I'm sure over the season we will be up there as one of the most hardworking teams in the league. What we do off the ball, with the energy and intensity to press is actually incredible. I've never seen any team do that off the ball and if we had a lot more quality and composure we could easily score 4/5 every single game. Is there a more exciting team to watch right now in the league?
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 20 August 2015 Posted 20 August 2015 He's very fast isn't he, as an aside I sometimes dream about him lobbing seaman from 5 yards. I always think if he was a normal person and I lived next to him he'd be the type to come round for a house party and do a reverse cowgirl poo in my shitter. In the morning someone's going to have a lot of Jamie's skiddies to scrape. Just sayin
eblair Posted 20 August 2015 Posted 20 August 2015 only thing shocking in that article is the how obvious it is no one watches us if they dont realise vardy is quick as
Alexikokopops Posted 20 August 2015 Posted 20 August 2015 I'd like to see him race my dogWill there ever be a boy born who can run faster than your dog?
SB87_LCFC Posted 21 August 2015 Posted 21 August 2015 1. Vardy 2. Jenkinson - Was Jenkinson only there as he was trying to catch Vardy last weekend?
Freesolo Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 How do the measure it? Funny one everyone knows Vardy is Rapid but they didn't point a speed camera at him and over what distance was it taken? I'm certain there are faster players than Vardy in the Prem just early doors
Foxymcoxy Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 How do the measure it? Funny one everyone knows Vardy is Rapid but they didn't point a speed camera at him and over what distance was it taken? I'm certain there are faster players than Vardy in the Prem just early doors I think they have GPS in their boots, or somewhere on the person. This is literally just the top speed anyone has reached. He may have only been going that fast for an instant, the distance isn't factored in.

He may have only been going that fast for an instant, the distance isn't factored in. Speed = distance divided by time. All they need is a stop watch and a point of reference for distance. A football pitch is a pretty good point of reference plus they will probably have drawing tools available to be very precise.
davieG Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 The makers of FIFA 2016 have rated Theo Walcott as the fastest player in the Premier League - but the quickest man in England's top flight so far this season is in fact Leicester's Jamie Vardy. The pacey England international clocked 35.44km/hr in his side's 2-1 win at West Ham. Claudio Ranieri's men have got off to a fast start in the Premier League and their players have registered four of the five top speeds seen in the division in 2015/16 so far. Jeffrey Schlupp (35.26km/hr) and Marc Albrighton (35km/hr) are next on the list with speeds set against Bournemouth, ahead of Stoke City's Mame Biram Diouf, who hit 34.97 km/hr against Norwich in August. Vardy completes the top five with his second appearance on the list - 34.95 km/hr against Bournemouth. Morgan's 8th with 34.76 against Bournemouth http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9992435/who-is-the-fastest-premier-league-player-tracking-data-tells-us
ozleicester Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Morgan 8th... Im surprised... pleased but surprised
goose2010 Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 That's some pace throughout the team! its amazing what stats they can find out these days, but its made easier now every player is tracked individually.
Fox42 Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I'd go as far as to say only Huth is not "pacy" from the lineup that finished the Villa game.
Merging Cultures Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 But that's just statistics. There is a guy in here who has a season ticket and has seen them run with his own eyes. He'll tell us who is fastest.
ImBlue Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 But that's just statistics. There is a guy in here who has a season ticket and has seen them run with his own eyes. He'll tell us who is fastest. You said Morgan was slow? And I said he wasn't? So your bragging because the system YOU defended for measuring speed proved YOU wrong about Morgan's pace? Good one goon.Is it just coincidence that 5 of the top 6 have come at Vitality and Boleyn ground? Edit: 7 of the top 8.
EnglishOxide Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Morgan 8th... Im surprised... pleased but surprised Goes to show the impact of our sports science team. Morgan would have never hit them figures at Forest.
Wymsey Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 So, without Sports Science we would've been where Newcastle are? SS (running fast) is not the sole reason for the good individual performances.
Ashley Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 You said Morgan was slow? And I said he wasn't? So your bragging because the system YOU defended for measuring speed proved YOU wrong about Morgan's pace? Good one goon. Is it just coincidence that 5 of the top 6 have come at Vitality and Boleyn ground? Edit: 7 of the top 8. Think Ritchie was in the figures last week and I remember him chasing Schlupp back and which Ritchie lost the ball, his face trying to track back is something I'll never forget. Our team is fast as **** and so exciting to watch at the minute, anyone think we are the fastest starting 11 in the Prem? Would say Palace rival us..
Vardinhio Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I'd say overall we must be fastest, Palace are rapid in some areas but still have a few donks playing for them. We are pretty much donk free these days..
Babylon Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Morgan. That fast!? Shocked!! Don't be... because it's horseshit isn't it. Just like Was being on the list last year. We'd seen with our own eyes Agbonlahor gallop past Was at Villa whilst also controlling a ball. Yet we'll just forget what we've seen because some stat measured over half a metre or half a second says he's the quickest. He could just have an explosive burst due to his size, but over 15/20/30 metres he's got no chance. Schlupp, Vardy, Dyer, Kante, De Laet it's fairly obvious they are quick. We see them beat their man regularly. Albrighton... When do we see him beat someone with pace? Not often. If someone asked you to describe him you wouldn't say quick at all. Wes isn't as slow as people make out, but you'd never have him down as quick, ditto Was. This stuff needs to be taken with a pinch of salt because the sample is so small.
Babylon Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Is it just coincidence that 5 of the top 6 have come at Vitality and Boleyn ground? Nope... but you're not actually allowed to use common sense and question the validity of these things. You must believe it's 100% true, despite it actually going against your better judgement.
