We're not even top five after the first two games, although that might be something to do with not having to do much running to beat Sunderland and West Ham having a fair chunk of the possession in their half.

 

Fair enough, stats don't lie. Although I'm sure over the season we will be up there as one of the most hardworking teams in the league. What we do off the ball, with the energy and intensity to press is actually incredible. I've never seen any team do that off the ball and if we had a lot more quality and composure we could easily score 4/5 every single game.

I think they have GPS in their boots, or somewhere on the person. This is literally just the top speed anyone has reached. He may have only been going that fast for an instant, the distance isn't factored in.

Speed = distance divided by time. 

 

All they need is a stop watch and a point of reference for distance. A football pitch is a pretty good point of reference plus they will probably have drawing tools available to be very precise.

The makers of FIFA 2016 have rated Theo Walcott as the fastest player in the Premier League - but the quickest man in England's top flight so far this season is in fact Leicester's Jamie Vardy.

The pacey England international clocked 35.44km/hr in his side's 2-1 win at West Ham.

Claudio Ranieri's men have got off to a fast start in the Premier League and their players have registered four of the five top speeds seen in the division in 2015/16 so far.

Jeffrey Schlupp (35.26km/hr) and Marc Albrighton (35km/hr) are next on the list with speeds set against Bournemouth, ahead of Stoke City's Mame Biram Diouf, who hit 34.97 km/hr against Norwich in August.

Think Ritchie was in the figures last week and I remember him chasing Schlupp back and which Ritchie lost the ball, his face trying to track back is something I'll never forget.

Just like Was being on the list last year. We'd seen with our own eyes Agbonlahor gallop past Was at Villa whilst also controlling a ball. Yet we'll just forget what we've seen because some stat measured over half a metre or half a second says he's the quickest. He could just have an explosive burst due to his size, but over 15/20/30 metres he's got no chance.

 

Schlupp, Vardy, Dyer, Kante, De Laet it's fairly obvious they are quick. We see them beat their man regularly. Albrighton... When do we see him beat someone with pace? Not often. If someone asked you to describe him you wouldn't say quick at all. Wes isn't as slow as people make out, but you'd never have him down as quick, ditto Was.

 

This stuff needs to be taken with a pinch of salt because the sample is so small.
