FLAN Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Missed out tonight. Sulking as he didn't get a move or was he in Europe somewhere after trying to get one on final day?
chicagofox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Missed out tonight. Sulking as he didn't get a move or was he in Europe somewhere after trying to get one on final day? Or simply not selected? As has been pointed out he was at the match.
MC Prussian Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Missed out tonight. Sulking as he didn't get a move or was he in Europe somewhere after trying to get one on final day? I suppose he didn't fit Ranieri's match plan against Liverpool, thus the emphasis on a pacey starting XI yesterday. I think we'll have Inler back on the bench again against Manchester City or even starting in that 4-1-4-1 that we've seen a few times already this season. We're more likely to play it safe away from home against Top Eight (Six) opposition and particularly against rival Top Four contenders.
PaulW Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Missed out tonight. Sulking as he didn't get a move or was he in Europe somewhere after trying to get one on final day? Bl**dy hell! Talk about 2 + 2 making 5!!!!!
FLAN Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Bl**dy hell! Talk about 2 + 2 making 5!!!!! Note the question mark. It indicates I was asking something not making assumptions.
KFS Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 He's got a big part to play, especially if we get Champions League
HighPeakFox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Note the question mark. It indicates I was asking something not making assumptions. But you only gave us 2 options..............
Tuna Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 We're not really talking about him not making the bench anymore, but surely he deserves a place over Dyer? I'm guessing Dyer will drop out in place of Amartey anyway for West Brom.
EnglishOxide Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 Unless he's injured, Claudio really doesn't fancy him, as King is useful but nothing special and hasn't played at the same level as Inler yet keeps getting in ahead. We may see him Tuesday though if Kante picked up an injury today!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 I think he may still play a part for us. I like him, against Man City at home (I think?) he played in a three man midfield and he is a good option to have if we were to play in that formation/that way of playing in particular games. He does not play regularly as we know but I believe he could still do a decent job in our side.
Ozwin Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 Sort of player I can see some Chinese side blowing a load on.
glenelgfox Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 IMO why King gets the nod over Inler is he has played more obviously in the PL and offers more re attacking options and Kingy always seems to bob up at odd times with a goal or two as witnessed by end of last season. Inler is more a pure defensive midfielder. If Kante doesn't play Tues then I can see Inler on the bench.
It'sblueupnorth Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 West brom could be the perfect game for him to slot into. They will put 10 men behind the ball from the start maybe this will give him more time on the ball in holding midfield. We might struggle without Kante though
FoxinNotts Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 I'm like him. Hope he makes the squad for Tuesday. We seem to play the wrong style of play for him, but he gives us another option. I doubt he's happy to be just making the bench though! Would be good in European games, which is ironic, as I doubt he'll be here next season.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 I agree that he could be good for us in Europe next season, with the experience he has. Even in general BPL matches I still like him as part of our squad. Depends if he stays or moves on to another club in the summer. Hope he stays but would understand if not.
Ozwin Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 I reckon Kante's fine, they're just saying that so West Brom think differently.
themightyfin Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 I told you all here weeks ago the shit hit the fan when Leicesyer priced him out of a loan move before the transfer windows closed by asking for a 2million Euro loan fee. Left a lot of ill feeling and safe to assume bar a major injury crisis you will not see him in the match day 18 again.
foxinsox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Good game for Inler to start. Surely if he has any role in the team at all then it is coming in for an injured Kante?
HighPeakFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Good game for Inler to start. Surely if he has any role in the team at all then it is coming in for an injured Kante? Prepare to be corrected -some people don't like points of view that differ :-)

Well he's still turning up on matchday, suited and booted so there isn't an irreconcilable difference as yet.
foxinsox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 A good day for him to prove a point! Inler is good in the air and not easily physically intimidated. Slower than Kante without a doubt, but a good passer.
DennisNedry Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Sort of player I can see some Chinese side blowing a load on. I thought bukkake was a Japanese thing, not Chinese?
wattolcfc Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I've seen some sources quoting Ranieri, that he's said King will get the nod
VLC86 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I've seen some sources quoting Ranieri, that he's said King will get the nod Claudio would be a great poker player, I wouldn't bet on this at all.
