KFS Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 This will be a tough one. It's a good time to play them, but their Summer buys have got to click at some point. Let's hope it's not Saturday, because I think they've got something special brewing at the Britannia.
Rincewind Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Could be first defeat. A close 1-0 or 2-1. Could hear cries of Ranieri out Get Pearson back.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I'd like 3 at the back but dont think we'll get it. My prediction: Kasper De Laet Huth Morgan Schlupp Dyer Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Mahrez Vardy ulloa for albrighton for me, gunna need a big man for this one

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I certainly think the league table at the moment does not reflect how good Stoke are as a team. They've got some good players and will want to win this especially as it's at their own ground. Just hoping we can remain unbeaten and get a decent result.
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 ulloa for albrighton for me, gunna need a big man for this one Good point. Added bonus is that Ulloa scored the winner there last time. 352 would just be perfect really.
LCCFox96 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 More of the 2nd half performance today replicated at Stoke should be our aim. Fast, attacking football. It has served us so well recently and the system needs to replicate today's 2nd half in set up. I'd start: Schmeichel De Laet Huth Morgan Schlupp Mahrez Drinkwater Kanté Albrighton Ulloa Vardy Inler out for Kanté should be a no brainer after today's respective showings. Ulloa I thought was good against Bury and today off the bench and has taken the two chances he has been given so far this campaign in my book. With Okazaki having weaker games against Spurs and Villa this seems as good a time as ever to make that swap. I like Okazaki but Ulloa is a different outlet alongside Vardy and one that proved more successful today. His physical presence will be needed to counter Stoke's rather sizeable backline too. I also thought some of his link up play was tidy. Other than that as you were. Dyer might be able to make a claim for a starting berth soon though if Albrighton or Mahrez's form dips. Very good debut from him today though.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante and King in. And Kramaric for Ozazaki.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 6 pointer. This is really going to be tough, a performance like the first half one today and we will lose
VLC86 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Kante and King in. And Kramaric for Ozazaki. Yep, Krama over Leo for this physical encounter would be top.
Max Power Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Dyer and Kante in for Okazaki and Inler. 4-2-3-1 and PACE on the break. Mahrez number 10
AKCJ Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Mahrez needs to be number 10. Don't care if it's in a 3-5-2 or a 4-2-3-1.
MC Prussian Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Might be a rather unpopular choice with a many a FT poster, but I'd switch to a 3-5-2 with Wasilewski, Huth and Morgan as our CB trio, Inler and Kanté in the middle, assisted by Schlupp and Albrighton on the flanks as LWB/RWB, Mahrez in attacking midfield position and Vardy and Okazaki up front.
Rob1742 Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Dyer to replace Okazaki.. Kante for Inler... I'm going for a hard fought 1-1.... I think the same with regards the team. However, they ain't having a good time and we will be hitting them with pace on the break. Stoke 0-1 Leicester
Bamba's Babes Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 He'll condense the midfield, no doubt about it imo. Kaspar Magic Roundabout DeLaet Morgan Huth Schlupp Albrighton Drinkwater Inler Kante Mahrez Vardy
foxfanazer Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Kasper Albrighton Huth Wes Benalouane Schlupp Drinky Kante King Mahrez Ulloa

foxfanazer Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Kasper RDL - Huth - Wes - Fuchs Drinky - Kante Dyer - Mahrez - Jeff Ulloa I like that
FireFox Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 I like thatHarsh on Vardy maybe, but maybe give him a rest/sub him on in the last 20. Albrighton shouldn't play on the left (not that he couldn't play on the right in that, but w/o Vardy I'd prefer the pace of Dyer). No Albrighton also means giving Fuchs a start too - let us see those long throws, and he would take the set pieces in the absence of Albrighton.

Maybe for the type of game Ulloa is a much better 'lone striker' option. Also if we need to change things after an hour Vardy can cause havoc if they're flagging a bitSaying that if you start Ulloa I think Albrighton is a must. His accuracy of crossing would be great for Leo

That's meat and drink to their way of playing and physical lads at the back. The best way to beat Stoke is to do what we do best. Keep it to feet, keep it quick. Win with pace and intensity. That's why I'd keep Vardy in and give Kram a go. If anyone is going to nip in and out of the towering Stoke centre backs, it's them two. Stoke are a penalty waiting to happen if put on the back foot.
Babylon Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Schmeichel De Laet Huth Morgan Schlupp Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Mahrez Dyer Vardy Schwarzer, Kramaric, Ulloa, Was, King, Inler, Okazaki Can see it being this.

I didn't suggest we should lump it up to Ulloa. What I mean is when playing vardy as the lone striker the ball just doesn't stick up top and we continuously give up possession. Playing Albrighton and Ulloa gives us another option and the we still have the pace and trickery of Mahrez and Dyer with the ability to bring Vardy or Kram off the bench if it's not working
