Countryfox Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Agree with this. It's not easy. As I've said Stoke have been unlucky and a team plus of new players to bed in - not easy in itself. They will be up for this and Hughes will consider us the kind of team Stoke should be beating. Seems from the forums that their fans are worried about us and we're worried about them. A level of mutual respect which is nice. Like I said I'd take a point, but with our confidence, Marehz on fire and then full of new faces we could sneak another win. Sooner we get to 40pts the better. We're capable of winning this for sure .... Depends on team selection/formation and who's up for it on the day ... Looking forward to seeing how CR tackles this one ...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 I'd take a draw and hope Kante starts. Not sure at whose cost though.
ronnup Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 There for the taking. They were awful against Arsenal.
ithuriel Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Stoke are a good team but we are capable of beating them. Another three points towards safety would be nice to have.
BlueTillIDie Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 I reckon a cheeky 1 - 0 win for us with a Huth over head kick in the 92nd minute.
kingpowerout Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Schmeichel De Laet. Huth Morgan Fuchs Inler Drinkwater Kanté Mahrez Schlupp Vardy This side has frightening pace on the counter attack with Albrighton, dyer and Ulloa the 3 subs if this fails to work.

Huth Morgan Fuchs Inler Drinkwater Kanté Mahrez Schlupp Vardy This side has frightening pace on the counter attack with Albrighton, dyer and Ulloa the 3 subs if this fails to work. I'd like to see this. Doubt we'll go with that though.
MC Prussian Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 I'm looking forward to the very first Inler vs. Shaqiri league duel ever.
biggs Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 We'll take the lead in this one (for a change) and will pick up a couple more. Good away win 1-3 Leicester
wokinghamfox Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 I'm looking forward to the very first Inler vs. Shaqiri league duel ever. Dont hold your breath!
MC Prussian Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Dont hold your breath! Ask the manager.
Dickov22 Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I'd go Kasper Huth Morgan Fuchs Dyer Schlupp Drinkwater Kante Mahrez Vardy Ulloa
FoxinNotts Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I'd go Kasper Huth Morgan Fuchs Dyer Schlupp Drinkwater Kante Mahrez Vardy Ulloa I like it. I like it a lot.
Footballwipe Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Pessemist in me sees Stoke igniting their season. God knows if we play like we did in the first half of Bournemouth and Villa we might find ourselves climing another mountain. Optimist in me sees us absolutely flying on confidence and using the confidence and energy we have to overcome a team who really haven't got going. 0-0
jammie82uk Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Stat time Stoke have suffered just one defeat in their last six meetings in all competitions with Leicester, winning three and drawing two. These two sides have only met twice in the Premier League, with both results ending in a 1-0 win for the team playing away. On home soil, Stoke have won four of their last six clashes with the Foxes in all competitions, drawing one and losing one. Leicester City have scored four headed goals from just five headers on target in the Premier League this season. Stoke's total of two points from five games is their worst ever start in the Premier League. Riyad Mahrez has had a hand in eight Leicester goals in his last eight Premier League games (six goals, two assists). So far this season, Mahrez has been directly involved in more goals than any other PL player (six - four goals, two assists) and has beaten his opponent with a dribble on a league-high 22 occasions. 22.3% of Leicester City's passes this season have been played long; a higher proportion than any other side. The Foxes have been given four yellow cards for dissent this season, more than any other side. Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland has made a league-high 27 saves so far in 2015-16.
ALC Fox Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 A win would be an excellent result, much like it was last season when Stoke dominated the game but we got all 3 points. I can see us making a decent fist of it, especially considering the difference in form between the two teams, but it's going to be tough. 2-2 is my prediction.
Wymsey Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 We have nothing to fear. Strangely, I think Stoke fans will be the most nervous - so we need to frustrate them and work from the back. Their team is quite hit and miss at the moment.
Father Ted Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I'm looking forward to the very first Inler vs. Shaqiri league duel ever. If Inler is lucky enough to get on.
Father Ted Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Having thought about it now.. I hope we line up; Schmeichel De Laet Huth Morgan Fuchs Drinkwater - Kante Dyer - Mahrez - Schlupp Vardy Subs: Schwarzer, Wasilewski, King, Albrighton, Ulloa, Okazaki, Inler. Just feel that our defensive frailties down the wing need to be combated a bit wiser and this could be accomplished with Schlupp and Dyer or Albrighton out wide to support the full backs. Look at the pace, power, guile of that front 6 oh my godddddddddddd
fuchsntf Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Schmeichel De Laet. Huth Morgan Fuchs Inler Drinkwater Kanté Mahrez Schlupp Vardy This side has frightening pace on the counter attack with Albrighton, dyer and Ulloa the 3 subs if this fails to work. Probably over the last 2 seasons, this selection looks very good compared to many. For an away game with nifty movement, this is the midfield I would of gone for.Keeping to a back 4 with 4 players in their accustomed positions can only be to the teams advantage. Its time Schlupp moved forward, with some teams, its worth having him occasionally at FB, but this weekend He and Fuchs pairing is more than worth trying. It would have Albrighton and Schlupp competing for that spot, then Dyer being the impact sub, with a Ulloa or Kramaric, giving him someone to aim/feed to. Whatever the permatations, CR has to be given a longline, and fans back his selections. We are going to lose a game sometime, I just hope fans refrain from slagging him off when the plans dont come off.He needs carte Blanche right past the new year. Plus posters, when experiencing those early losses ( if they occur), the last thing they want is having to read negative posts, from , sofa team selectors. Time , patience, common sense, our own crazy little Italian, is doing a great job so far. Besides 35k+fans have 35k+ different team ideas.
My Nads Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Stoke are not as good as their reputation and they couldn't cope with the way Arsenal pressed them. If we do the same, I expect a straight forward 3-1 Foxes win.

Slagging off mangers for using the wrong tactics or player in hindsight is what most fans live for! I'm having to wait for quite a while before Ranieri slips up and I can say to everyone "I told you Ranieri was shit ", so if we ever lose I will certainly get my digs in to show how right I am...
Dickov22 Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I think Huth's been our weak link this season. No good in a back 4 so far. Better in a back 5
