roblcfc84 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 If we are looking energy and tenacity on either side of midfield ive been impressed with khazri from bordeaux whenever ive watched him
thybluefox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Sturridge to West Ham.... Terrible injury record, and has had his attitude questioned...but would anyone take him?
Staffs Fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Sturridge would be the ultimate gamble, If and if a huge if you can get him fit, he's world class and worth £50m but Liverpool cannot rely on him at all. He not just injury prone in the Anderton/Kewell mould he is in a league of his own! It's unprecedented. Also its different injuries which is a concern. If someone has a dodgy Hamstring you can deal with it and do training an rehab centred around that but his whole body appears to be knackered; Groin, Calf, Hamstring, Ankle etc. In saying that, there will be loads of takers because you'll probably get him for third of his usual price and they'll be a manager/physio out there think they can get him fully fit and have the ultimate bargain. I personally think he's well and truly crocked
Guest Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 People really need to stop going on about Slimani. It's becoming increasingly irritating. He's okay but not what we need. would be a great addition.

UPinCarolina Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 I'm astounded if they go for him after all the problems they are having with Andy Carroll, never learn. Take him, let him rehab for a whole year, and he's worth it. I bet they aren't even planning on him being fit until next campaign.
lgfualol Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 You'd probably have to pay Sturridge 100k+ a week and he'll be out for 2 months with a chipped toe nail. nein danke
Ric Flair Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Take him, let him rehab for a whole year, and he's worth it. I bet they aren't even planning on him being fit until next campaign. Still a massive gamble, once injuries set in like they appear to be doing so with Sturridge it's very difficult to mend a player for any great length of time. I personally wouldn't bother. He's a helmet as well.
AKCJ Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Thing is with Sturridge is that he's a 15-20 goal a season striker even if he is injured for a lot of it. IN.
foxes21 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Speaking of good injured players, would anyone take Jay Rodriguez from Southampton? (Probably a more realistic shout than Sturridge, due to wages)

I personally wouldn't bother. He's a helmet as well. Exactly this. He had all that time off to mend last year being treated by some of the best doctors in the world yet still picking up different injuries. He came back from injury and had a great game in the cup, the next he's back in the sick bay. It would be a waste of time, money and resources buying an injured player. I doubt West Ham would buy him after what they said about Austin and their experience with Carroll.
thybluefox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Thing with Sturridge is that I'm certain most of the injuries are in his head. You have players like Vardy who'll play no matter what hurts - where as Sturridge will declare himself unfit based on a tight hamstring. Change that attitude and he'd be playing far more regularly.
artursteppe Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Speaking of good injured players, would anyone take Jay Rodriguez from Southampton? (Probably a more realistic shout than Sturridge, due to wages) What have 'wages' got to do with anything?
foxes21 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 What have 'wages' got to do with anything? Err sturridge is probably on 100k a week?
Gerard Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 What have 'wages' got to do with anything? Are you serious?
lgfualol Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Err sturridge is probably on 100k a week?I heard he is on 150k a week
Gerard Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Thing is with Sturridge is that he's a 15-20 goal a season striker even if he is injured for a lot of it. IN. It would be ridiculous to spend huge money to take on someone else's problem. We should try and find our own Sturridge and not this one who you just can't rely on. He's managed the equivalent of 11.5 games of football in the last 60 and is injured as we speak. http://www.squawka.com/comparison-matrix#premier_league/2015/2016/daniel_sturridge/165/165/441/36/p|premier_league/2014/2015/daniel_sturridge/165/126/441/36/p#goals_scored#90 AVOID.
lgfualol Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Remy set to leave Chelsea in place of Pateo. Had he got a shit personality or should we get him in Wow didnt know he was 29, thought he was mid 20s.
foxes161 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Funny thing about Sturridge when he came back from injury he scored twice in the cup then got hurt again
roblcfc84 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Funny thing about Sturridge when he came back from injury he scored twice in the cup then got hurt again I think klopp has realised that he doesnt know when he is truly injured - slightest niggle and he wont play unless he feels 100 percent
