But not sure who we could get, is Slimani still an option? Andre Ayew is playing as a striker these days for Swansea not as a winger I wouldn't mind him here to be honest. Can't see Liverpool going for him In all honesty. He's too similar to Danny Ings. Would love Slimani & wouldn't mind either of the Ayew brothers either! Just hoping we sign a striker this window.

I read that Man U were looking at Slimani and some Sporting fans said there is no chance that he will leave this window. His buyout clause is 22m euros so might put us off.

But I think that Southampton have brought in Austin as Pelle is off home to Italy so can't see them letting Long go too.

I was dissapointed we missed on Austin, he was just what we needed at the moment. Long would be an interesting signing and I think the closest we'd get to an Charlie Austin.

He's a proven PL goal scorer and he would fit our system perfectly. We should only be looking at players that would be first on the team sheet and a far bit better than what we already have, so even if he would cost £20-25m we should try an get him. It's the most important window in our history! It's time to think big and get guaranteed quality in.

Five live said he's on £100k a week which Spurs are still paying till the end of the season so any deal will still have to be done with them over his wages. No one wants to sign him as they would be stuck paying stupid wages for someone no one wants around and is happy to be that person. This man is toxic and would go against what most people say about our team, hard work and team spirit. Feghouli would be great as would Bas Dost & kruse at Wolfsburg.

Chicharito has only just joined Leverkusen last summer and will hardly want to move away after only one season. He loves it there, blends in nicely and is one of the "superstars" of the league, if you want to call it that way. His pedigree (both on a national and international level) and his goalscoring prowess have made him a fans' favourite.
