MooseBreath Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Solid away draw that we actually won in terms of legitimate goals scored. We looked much better 2nd half and for all the stick Okazaki has been getting I think taking Schlupp off was the key. He was a total waste of space today. There was even some below par performances from Drinkwater and Kante but we still won the game in terms of legitimate goals. We could well be witnessing our best ever premier league season.
foxes21 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Do we ever do it the boring way? What my blood pressure would give for a slow paced, tedious, mind-numbing, watching paint dry type of game that England play! But apart from that whenever you watch Leicester, whatever the result, you are going to be entertained!!
themotivator Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 The vine of vardy's goal on twitter has a top quality reflection of the fella recording it in the screen of his laptop. Which one of you is it?
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Not bad 2 defeats in 18 considering how shit we are tbh.
SecretPro Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Awesome as usual. Called the subs before half time and as usual Ranieri got it right. Benny in a CB anyone?
Matt Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Get in! Brilliant once again. Sounded very frustrating at half time, started well, Southampton took control, went 2 up, but we came out fighting in the 2nd half, I thought we needed an early 2nd half goal (Earlier than that 60th) but it doesn't matter we got the two and managed to get the draw. Need to get this defence sorted though, whilst it's great coming back, i'd rather do things a litte easier and the defence is frustrating the hell out of me. Oh and is Vardy still not good enough for England, Woy, play him in his pwoper position, twat!
EGBFitness Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 We are clearly the most exciting team in the premier league yet Sky has only shown 1 game this season so far. They really haven't got a clue, no wonder BT sport is slowly taking over
Mike Oxlong Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Favourite quote from the Southampton forum match thread "Good god. This Leicester team are terrifying"
mrmagoomc4 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 ould and should of won that !!!!! onwards we march the mighty foxes Oi! Oi! Oi!
Phube Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Watching Vardy makes me think: He'd do really well stuck outside on the left wing getting no service!
SecretPro Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Wasn't in the match day thread, take it the morons were out in force again?
ScouseFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 jamiemie vardyauyiydyyy havin a parytytyyytyyyyyyyyyyyy
Swarles Barkley Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 vardy alone has scored more goals than 7 premier league teams. ridiculous stat
Scottlcfc92 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Love the fight and determination this team have!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 There are better strikers out there obviously but I genuinely can't imagine another striker in world football who could do the job Vards does for us. He's different to absolutely anything and everything I've ever seen, he's the epitome of this side.
ealingfox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 2 points dropped. Outclassed them most of the game and missed chances. Been mugged off as well because their 2nd was clearly offside. Spend big on defenders in Jan?
EGBFitness Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Great result today though. Reminded me of the Bournemouth game. Pretty poor first half, I don't think we played particular bad I just think we wasn't set up right and poor tactically for set pieces. Second half was the City we know and love. All over them for whole half, Vardy took his chances brilliantly shame he couldn't convert the chance he hit over the bar. Subs made a massive difference when they came on. Vardy will probably get man of the match for his goals but was really impressed with Kante again and Fuchs- hard to imagine we used to play Konchesky there
Nalis Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Wasn't in the match day thread, take it the morons were out in force again? What do you think? As FIF says, we're 12pts off 18th which is brilliant at this stage of the season.
ThaiFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 We NEED a new CB in January, Simpson has been an improvement on De Laet slightly but still has limitations, huth has been a bit ropey at times this season, and Morgan has his eyes closed half the time I'm sure. Fuchs really does look like a class act and we have got an absolute bargain!! We cannot play 4-4-2 and try to counter, it's far too flat, Southampton set up well. Okazaki huffs and puffs but isn't good enough on this seasons evidence, I'd rather have nugent back right now, but deserves a chance, needs to come from the bench though. Kramaric or ulloa NEED to be given game time, vardy is on fire but without him and mahrez we are pretty flat all over. We need to get them playing fast or they won't ever hit any sort of form. I think we went 4-3-3 second half? It worked well and we probably need to stick with that if we refuse to play 3 at the back. 4-4-2 has had its time now in my opinion. Fuchs is brilliant. My MOTM today, despite Vardy's goals. Agree with the Morgan comment. At times he is so slow to read the play. Ulloa should get a run in the side too.
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 If we'd started the game like we played the second half, we would have won. Great subs made the difference and changed our whole mentality. Nice one CR, the tinkering worked again. As for Vardy, are you watching Owl face?
