Buggsteam Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 What a game. This team is on fire. If we can cut out the silly mistakes then were going to have a great season. Vardy, no words can describe how good he is for us. Fuchs looks quality at LB.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 The fitness and never say die attitude of this team is a sight to behold, great comeback once again. Can't help but feel a little disappointed though, they were there for the taking and bar a few set pieces, they never really threatened much. Should have been three but happy with a point
st albans fox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Suspect our odds for relegation lengthened a bit
Izzy Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 As FIF says, we're 12pts off 18th which is brilliant at this stage of the season. A quarter of the season gone and we're 5th in the league. Incredible really
Itsthejoeker Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Wasn't in the match day thread, take it the morons were out in force again? Yeah, and they'll crawl under their rocks until we next go 1-0 down to come back out with shit like "the claudio effect is setting in".
sycokilla Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Great result ...southampton only got out of thier half 3 times in the second half...unlucky not to get a win...if the defense was better where would we be???
dave_the_fox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 ImBlue is absolutely gutted about that comeback! As well as the guy who said 'ranieris influence setting in' at 2-0 down
Babylon Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 2 points dropped. Outclassed them most of the game and missed chances. Been mugged off as well because their 2nd was clearly offside. Spend big on defenders in Jan? It was the sheer number of big players they had that did us first half (one being offside). They didn't create much from open play and I'd rather judge the defence on that today.
Sunbury Fox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Didn't have a stream. What was the formation second half? 4231 with Mahrez just behind Vardy? Or did Mahrez play as a striker?
MPH Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Where's that dilemma thread? Swap Vardy for Rooney?
ScouseFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 There are better strikers out there obviously wot
justfoxes Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Brilliant stuff .Can the people who keep criticising Ranieri kindly get ****ed and get behind him.Nicely put !
Babylon Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Great result today though. Reminded me of the Bournemouth game. Pretty poor first half, I don't think we played particular bad I just think we wasn't set up right and poor tactically for set pieces. Second half was the City we know and love. All over them for whole half, Vardy took his chances brilliantly shame he couldn't convert the chance he hit over the bar. Subs made a massive difference when they came on. Vardy will probably get man of the match for his goals but was really impressed with Kante again and Fuchs- hard to imagine we used to play Konchesky there nice to have a left back who doesn't kick it straight to their players!
Frank to be Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Yeah, and they'll crawl under their rocks until we next go 1-0 down to come back out with shit like "the claudio effect is setting in". "It's Peter Taylor all over again" was my favourite this week, as well as the usual from EalingFox of course
The Guvnor Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 It's difficult to be too critical after such a fantastic comeback but this is becoming far too familiar. We are undoubtedly the fittest side in the PL. it's our fitness and tenacious approach that get's us back into games when they appear lost, so please CR let's just fvcking concentrate on not conceding stupid fvcking goals in the first half, then blitz teams in the second half, it's not rocket science
SecretPro Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Yeah, and they'll crawl under their rocks until we next go 1-0 down to come back out with shit like "the claudio effect is setting in". Please tell me that wasnt a genuine quote
GingerrrFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Albrighton and Okazaki want dropping from the next game. Get Riyad and Dyer in there from the off.
Carl the Llama Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 If you download FotMob app, you can see goals few minutes after. It's cool, Enderby's a top lad who doesn't mind putting up legally dubious streamable links.
filbertway Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Albrighton and Okazaki want dropping from the next game. Get Riyad and Dyer in there from the off. Thought albrighton did pretty well tbh, worked his socks off and was on the ball alot trying to get the ball forward as often as possible.
EGBFitness Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 nice to have a left back who doesn't kick it straight to their players! Haha yeah your right, there were a few times in the game it came out to left back near the touch line and I started panicking thinking it would either be a dodgy back pass or silly tackle and then j remembered that's QPR's problem now and calmed down knowing it was Fuchs
LanguedocFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Great second half, but I would like us to stop letting in soft goals. If we'd won we would have been third now!
Uncle Monty Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 The co commentator over here in the States said that Vardy "epitomises everything I love about football". It's such a good thing to hear about a city player.
Ozwin Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 No Vardy gives me the fear but we'll deal with that when it comes to it. Absolutely love this side.
Stevosevic Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Albrighton and Okazaki want dropping from the next game. Get Riyad and Dyer in there from the off. Albrigton, Mahrez and Dyer for Palace please.
Spiritwalker Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 In Vardy, Dyer and Mahrez we have 3 'get out of your seat' players. When you add to that Jeff and Albrighton we have some seriously good attacking options.
