foxes21 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Guys it was 90-1 for 2-2 at half time! Did anyone get on that?
LanguedocFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Albrighton and Okazaki want dropping from the next game. Get Riyad and Dyer in there from the off. Okazaki I agree with, but Albrighton was good. Like to see Ulloa in for Okazaki though.
SecretPro Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Albrighton and Okazaki want dropping from the next game. Get Riyad and Dyer in there from the off. No thanks, keep Albrighton in. Starting 11 should be as we ended the game today. Maybe with Benny at CB.
EnglishOxide Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Yeah, and they'll crawl under their rocks until we next go 1-0 down to come back out with shit like "the claudio effect is setting in". I dipped in and out of the match thread and saw no such comments of that sentiment, you are just making shit up to pretend you are a better supporter than others. And if you aren't ready to have a moan when things aren't going for you, maybe you don't actually care that much? You are making out people are losing their shit when in actual fact they are making reactive posts, with less rationality and more emotion.
ScouseFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 dyer was sick second half. can't comment on jeff/shinji cos i only turned on at ht but surely we can find a place for him to start. riyad too. nuts to not play him.
psychonaut Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 These comebacks really do feel like wins! Dyer must start he has pace and directness with an end product. Fuchs can keep the LB position for the rest of the season. Mahrez in for Okazaki and maybe time for Benny to get a start in place of Morgan.
Hack Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 If we could sort out our defence we'd win this frickin league. Seems it is defense of set pieces rather than in open play that was the problem today.
EnglishOxide Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 The co commentator over here in the States said that Vardy "epitomises everything I love about football". It's such a good thing to hear about a city player. I heard that. He complimented the whole team. I get the impression he fell in love with us there and then.
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 This is the Leicester City we want to support. We have weaknesses, we have deficiencies, we're not a great team but my word we get every ounce out of the players. Their character is first class. Fearless is actually right, we do struggle in games but we never know when we're beaten. Since Hull in March we've been incredible in both results and performances. I want us to be tighter at the back, we do need a clean sheet and a comfortable win soon but it's taken years for us to be competent and dangerous in this division and we are that now. Superb. Too right.
justfoxes Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 The fitness and never say die attitude of this team is a sight to behold, great comeback once again. Can't help but feel a little disappointed though, they were there for the taking and bar a few set pieces, they never really threatened much. Should have been three but happy with a point I know what you mean they hit us twice from set pieces one off side but they gave it! But if we would have put away the couple of first half chances it would have been a different story but after going 2behind id take a draw but the ref didn't help much either we were being fouled a huge amount of times and they got away with loads the ref must have left his cards in the changing room! But we nearly nicked all 3 points we were absolutely fookingly awesome again just makes you think if we had quality defenders marshalling the back line how better would we be how higher would we be?? FairPlay Leicester city you were awesome !!
Tuna Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 A few great snippets from the Southampton forum: Good god. This Leicester team are terrifying. That's what fitness and work rate look like. Leicester are a Top 8 side this season and more teams will be "Leicestered", just as we were. Totally undeserved result that. Leicester should have won it because they wanted it so much more than we did. Totally awful. And they were very very good. They deserved it.

Benji Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 The co commentator over here in the States said that Vardy "epitomises everything I love about football". It's such a good thing to hear about a city player. It was Danny Higginbotham (I always thought it was Higgingbottom...). He's been the co-commentator on a few of ours and absolutely loves us.

Said a few days ago in another thread, I've always had a soft spot for Southampton and my dads a saints fan. Great team, great setup, great youth setup, very decent fans, no delusion.

EGBFitness Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 My commentator said that too. Must of had a script. Great thing to hear though!! I'm guessing you didn't listen to Radio Leicester too?
what? Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Maybe we could somehow convince the players that we're two nil down at the start. Hypnosis perhaps?
filbertstreet Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Their atmosphere is so boring, we were well louder, great second half
Merging Cultures Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 On the match thread, the only real concern I saw was that we didn't have Ulloa as an option. We came back to draw. We could have won. With the additional height and presence Ulloa offers, perhaps we could have defended and attacked set pieces better. We did very well to draw. Obvious i know, but we need to do much better defensively, especially in the first half.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Please tell me that wasnt a genuine quote it was but I'm fairly sure the culprit was on the wind up
Merging Cultures Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 I'm guessing you didn't listen to Radio Leicester too? Apparently I'm out of their range.
AjcW Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 We are clearly the most exciting team in the premier league yet Sky has only shown 1 game this season so far. They really haven't got a clue, no wonder BT sport is slowly taking over That the same BT Sport that hasn't shown us at all? Did they even last season?
yorkie1999 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Some of the comments in that match thread were embarrassing It's called football pal. Ups and downs and all that. One minute someone's a cvnt, next minute they're a God.

Heard him say the other week that we were 'everyone's second team'. Good lad.
