smudger63 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Without Nigel Pearson we wouldn't be where we are now (in the BPL) He got us promoted from League one, got into the playoffs twice I believe in the championship and after that season, promotion to the Premier League was achieved and we survived as well. He had a lot of success here and a stand named after him would be good IMO.
ozleicester Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 An item of formal neckwear made from the finest materials from the owners homeland with our great escape stats embroidered on it :- A Thai Tie I like thai.. you like shirt?
MooseBreath Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Don't need no gimmicks, just trophies in the cabinet, please.
Vlad the Fox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 This will become the era when the Kop and family stand swapped places...
jimmeh Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 This is literally embarrassing. A stand for nigel pearson? Some people think he's the best manager to have lived I swear. Ian Holloway got Blackpool and crystal palace in the play offs and promoted. Is he a good manager? Tony Mowbray won the championship title. Is he a great manager? These are managers who have achieved the same things as pearson but are not considered good managers
lgfualol Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 He did a really good job but the Thais wont name a stand after someone they sacked
Corky Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 This is literally embarrassing. A stand for nigel pearson? Some people think he's the best manager to have lived I swear. These are managers who have achieved the same things as pearson but are not considered good managers Well none of them survived the next season either through leaving or being relegated so they didn't literally achieve the same things but I get your point. And anyway, one person on an internet forum suggested naming a stand which is ridiculous. The owners getting a stand named is also ridiculous so let's not bother.
Carl the Llama Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Oh good I was thinking this place had got a bit light on the usual idiots suspects making unprovoked attacks on Pearson because someone else has a higher opinion of the man.
HighPeakFox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Can we have an enormous bronze ostrich please?
jonthefox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Something like the north bank wall at the Emirates would be good .
Ashley Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Think it could very well be Mr Tinkerman, however he's pissed me off a little with some of the things hew said in the press about us. Being a small club, would listen to offers for Vardy etc.. or is he doing this for more of an impact? I don't know
Captain... Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Can we have an enormous bronze ostrich please? I read that as booze ostrich, which would be awesome, I think. We have a good space around the ground to put up some statues or images to celebrate some club greats, I think there are a lot of deserving candidates and maybe one day Pearson will be one, but at the moment it is too soon and there is plenty of time left in his career to spoil his reputation and relationship with the fans.
NewquayFox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Nice Chinky on the corner of the Holiday Inn...... What......... What......... Up the City.....
Unabomber Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 A stand named after Nigel Pearson is a good shout, would be honoured to sit in such a stand.
Donut Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 A stand named after Nigel Pearson is a good shout, would be honoured to sit in such a stand. Youre hillarious. Love seeing your posts.
Unabomber Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Youre hillarious. Love seeing your posts. Thanks mate. I was joking though, I would definitely be standing.

Donut Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Thanks mate. I was joking though, I would definitely be standing. Of course. When safe standing comes in, the Pearson Kop will be like Dortmunds and hold about 15,000 on its own.
Unabomber Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Of course. When safe standing comes in, the Pearson Kop will be like Dortmunds and hold about 15,000 on its own. Maybe we should all wear Pearson masks too.
Donut Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Maybe we should all wear Pearson masks too. Pearson suite at the ground? Pearson inspired kit?
suffolk fox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Maybe a statue of Rusty Lee at the stadium a Leicester legend.
Frank to be Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Never mind naming a stand after him, we should build a new stand in the shape of Pearson's head and cover the roof in sand.
