One on one the keeper saved it but it fell to Mahrez on the edge of the box and he placed it into the empty net.

It's weird actually because I seem to remember you being pretty much anti Nugent for most of his time here. As for Kram, Nugent couldn't lace his boots I was Anti nugent the season before promotion in the championship, so let's not act as if it was "most of his time here" It was one season where i lost faith in him, and so was half of the forum, In his promotion season I admitted I was wrong and believed in him, he was fantastic and even in the prem done a fantastic job. As far as the link up play job, Nugent was better than Okazaki. I've said I'll give okazaki time, but that does not mean I cannot have an opinion on his play, I still back him week in week out and hope he does well here. I've not knocked okzaki's work rate, but if you want some basic stats on his play. Per 90 mins - He averages more backward passes than forward, Has created 5 chances this season (3 in 1 game) Has 1 in 10 Averages 1 shot a game as a striker - 43% accuracy 9 out of his 10 shots are inside the area. Wins 1.10 tackles per game Loses 1.30 tackles per game has made 6 interceptions in 10 games As good as these qualities are, let's not get carried away and assume he's doing amazing, people get sucked into the fact he runs around alot and think his stats are far better than they are. He does alot of running around, but he does not do alot with it. His link up play is good - 10 passes per game, 80% accuracy, fair enough. He does the link up role well, but his stats are almost identical to Ulloa, he came here on the back of consistent goalscoring seasons, we need to see that again, because If/when vardy dries up, we cannot rely on Okazaki to get us the goals. Ulloa is bigger, stronger, better holding up play, and adds an ariel threat to our crosses that we love piling in every week. EDIT - Nugent statistically per 90 minutes was superior to okazaki. More forward passes, less back passes. More passes per game. More ariel duels won per game. More successful take ons per game. Lost possession less than half as much as okazaki. Shot accuracy better, more shots (although both don't have scoring records to be proud of) Obviously Nugent played far more games, and these arent the best way to judge player performances, per 90 mins is the best way to view these stats, But on this basis of per 90 mins, Okazaki has to IMPROVE to be as effective as Nugent was last season. Argue it how you will, on okazaki's actual performances, he's overrated. But I hope he proves me wrong.
