Inler apparently now 4th choice (rightly so) but the guy has a huge smile in every picture I see. Either he's getting paid too much or he is enjoying his time here!

As Mahrez is now on 7 goals, doesnt that mean we have both the 1st and 2nd top scorers in the league at the moment?

Good couple of assists from Albrighton too

YES!

What a game! We started really well but failed to take advantage and that seed of doubt started to creep in, especially when they punished us at a set piece! We really need to work on those.

We had a good start to the second half with the goals but WBA did start to look dangerous when they made their substitutions.

At any point before we scored, both Albrighton and Mahrez could have come off as they really weren't playing well. The same could be said for Drinkwater, yet all three picked up when we needed them too.

Who cares about clean sheets and pizza when you're winning. You only really need to worry about that when you're not scoring.

I really really love this team. Amazing spirit and we score goals. Best time arguably ever to be a city fan, with all the money now in the prem and a talented squad, skys the limit.

Best time since Weller and Wortho- 40 years!

There'll be kids who think It'll be always like this!

Bit disappointing to see 4 of our players not sporting the poppy on their shirt today. Would be interested to know their reasons why.

Commentary on the stream I watched was abysmal.  Iain Dowie: "I'd need to see that (penalty claim) again.  I think it was Kante.  Or Morgan.....oh,no it was Huth"

Lead commentator, (not sure who he was): "Those three points keep Leicester in touch with fourth place".

Posted

who were they?

Huth and Simpson were two of them. Might have been a kitman error?

Edit: they were wearing them first half- might have fallen off?

I hate managers who claim to have conceded "soft goals" when they've hardly scored amazing ones themselves.

The only real soft goal today was Rondons. Ours had superb quality to them all.

That's the one Sky have just had on, the Kanté/Huth confusion is brilliant.

Or swapped shirts at half time, players and superstitions etc.

ive got a new favourite stat on fourfourtwo anyway. the "pass combinations" stat. 7 of our top 8 "pass combinations" (ie who passed the ball to who) were attacking combinations. forward passes on the whole. like schlupp to albrighton and albrighton to vardy. west brom's top two passing combinations were one centre back to the other and then back again. evans and mcauley passed the ball to each other 24 times in today's game. there isn't even a stat for how many times huth passed it to morgan or vice versa cos it happened so few times it doesn't even make fourfourtwo's table.

imagine being as boring as west brom.

Do we have to?

Great win. Vardy and Mahrez world class. Even Simpson did really well. Why we give a toss about McLean is beyond me. Sing 'for' the team.

Defensively Simpson was good. Going forward, he may aswell be statue

As a Leicester fan for 40 years this is amazing but so hard to relax and truly enjoy. For most of those we've been waiting for the crash and it has nearly always arrived. This was a significant result. If we can take 4pts from the next 3 games I'll be delighted. Any more than that I'll be amazed.

However the way we're playing it does appear we could beat teams like Man Utd. Guess we will soon see

I know what you mean but it really feels different this time. We've got a level of backing we've never had before and the club throughout is being run and invested in superbly. In the past during successful spells it felt that everything behind the scenes was creaking and struggling to keep up with the pace of the onfield success and it eventually collapsed bringing everything down with it. This time the depth and support for the playing side is there and it's being geared for success. UTC.

Pulis just sucks the life out of exciting players. Berahino will go that way. Couldn't imagine him trusting a Mahrez in his side.

He'll keep West Brom up and be widely praised for it but I find it strange how hardly any of the media question why he's so limited and cautious in his style.
