Absolutely unreal. Left my phone off at work at half time knowing that we'd win it.

It's a forgone conclusion these days

Sounds like we were lucky again but we are owed some of that after a lot of last season.

You sound disappointed!!!

You make your own luck, play in a positive manner and you have more chance of getting some luck, play in a negative manner and luck has a habit of going against you.

Luck favors the prepared. We play to win, so luck does us a solid.

Can someone confirm the above table for me please? Is it real or is it taken from a game of Championship manager? Because according to this table we are THIRD after 11 games in the Premier League :chant: and ABOVE Manchester United. Man Utd!!!

Amazing game, amazing team. I've literally never seen team spirit like this from any team in any sport.

Lucky again? What the hell are you on about? We are playing the best attacking football I've ever seen from a City side in my lifetime, maybe even the best since the 70's Bloomfield years.

No doubt Danny Murphy will say West Brom deserved 6 penalties blah blah blah. We did ride our luck in terms of decisions but they got one that wasn't and our football more than merited the 3 points

So the teams at the top really do get the decisions...

Looked just offside, but he made a little step back which probably convinced the Lino he was on. Looked a pen against huth too.

Outstanding win. Our momentum in this league continues. To be 3rd in the league amongst the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Man City and to head into November with the points we have collected is simply amazing. Watford at home next week should be great. We're in the European places and this is such a great time for the club.

And we had one chalked off that was onside, and their penalty was a joke.

This was bollocks last season and its bollocks this season. Do you know what luck means?

Extremely satisfying after Geoff and the boys on Gillette waxing lyrical about the bore maestro clean sheet record! Forgot the Leicester and Vardy factor eh boys? :) COYB

West Brom manager Tony Pulis: "Leicester did really well, it was a good game and in Jamie Vardy they have an exceptional player. His pace frightened us all afternoon.

"But the referee should have given us a penalty and sent their man off. It shouldn't happen at this level - the standard of refereeing should be better.

"[Referees' chief] Mike Riley should be on the phone asking why we weren't given two penalties.

"I've had a go in the tunnel with him and I apologise about that. I should be writing my report but I do hope they look at it."

The dog ate my homework.:dry:

Anyone heard his comments, did he watch the same game as me? maybe i'm wrong but as for claiming Mahrez was offside, didn't it get deflected of a West Brom defender so Mahrez couldn't be offside, correct me if I'm wrong?

Can still have been in an offside position when the pass was made.

You're wrong lol

I remember a grown Arsenal fan telling me once that the offside rule was that "one defender had to be between the GK and the attacker". I am convinced 50% of football fans don't actually understand the laws of the game.

Big fan of Pulis. He does moan a fair bit, but he was good enough to say that he will apologise to the ref. Plus he's a class manager
