midland_red Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 If DD carries on this form he'll be England's 5th choice right back in no time at all not with the idiot Hodgson he won't
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 If DD carries on this form he'll be England's 5th choice right back in no time at all lol
possiblygeorge Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Albrighton has gone strength-to-strength this season, really enjoying watching him play!
Socks Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Wow. That 2nd half was the most professional and organised i have seen us play ever. Apart from the penno we have really sorted out the defence. Is that CRs work? We made tWatford look a very ordinary side
possiblygeorge Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Champions League I truly starting to feel it, I think this is a season we seriously could do it. Call me simple, but i got goosebumps thinking about this Wow. That 2nd half was the most professional and organised i have seen us play ever. Apart from the penno we have really sorted out the defence. Is that CRs work? We made tWatford look a very ordinary side I beg to differ, i thought they played decent tbh
Devonfox1884 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 The Mahrez/Vardy penalty moment reminded me of that Nathan Dyer incident at Wembley. So glad Mahrez was a gentleman about it. This team has a genuine love and affection towards one-another-that opitomised for me.
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Why have we got two post match threads? Mods merge?
les-tah Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Drinkwater reminds me of scholes when he has a very good day!! Kante will keep his place for 10 years. We have no chance but just image if we got a champions league spot lol
Izzy Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 This team has a genuine love and affection towards one-another-that opitomised for me. Ranieri on Sky just now saying how tight the squad are and how they're all really good mates. Great to hear
les-tah Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 The good thing about kante is he won't get noticed
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Drinkwater reminds me of scholes when he has a very good day!! Kante will keep his place for 10 years. We have no chance but just image if we got a champions league spot lol If Ranieri got us to the Champions League it would be up there with the greatest football achievements by any manager ever
NewquayFox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Brilliant performance from City but though Watford looked by far the best of the promoted sides and should stay up, happy to see Deeney playing a bit deeper too. We deserved the win after that 2nd half and well done Ranieri for taking a very poor Schlupp off, he looks a lost soul at times.... Up the City.....
ARM1968 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Christmas period will tell us if that dream could be achievable. I think if we beat Man Utd, IF, we will have a fair chance with a reasonable December return.
Richmondfox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Really good game, I thought the defence were more organised and Shinji brought some bite to the attack/midfield. Mahrez and Albrighton swapping wings to find weaknesses and confuse play is some great tactics from CR. I love watching Kante play. He is still young and making mistakes with short passes and got in the way of other players a couple of times but he is a great player and can't believe we got him for so little. Watford looked pretty decent and will stay up. If this is the level of football we are playing as a Tinpot, small, lucky, false position that can't last, riding a wave of confidence club, then just imagine how what we could do if we were good. Hopefully Vardy can score next week to set up a chance to break the record at United.
Sampson Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Albrighton has gone strength-to-strength this season, really enjoying watching him play! His dribbling was the best I've seen it today. Beating players and weaving in and out of players with absolutely ease at times. Just kept driving through the WWatford defence.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Our defence looked good today I thought, bar the penalty and a bit of magic from ighalo we looked comfortable, especially seeing the game out not one nervy moment after they scored, solid all round today
cityfanlee23 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 The question is, Does Schlupp have potential as a CAM? I genuinely think we need to sign an attacking midfielder in order to really get that diversity during a match to switch it up and eradicate problems, or could we use King there?
Ozwin Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 We are last seasons Southampton and they scalped a few top teams. Can definitely see us doing it to some too.
fridoux Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 The Mahrez/Vardy penalty moment reminded me of that Nathan Dyer incident at Wembley. So glad Mahrez was a gentleman about it. agree, but for me vardy should be the first penalty taker. anyway, mahrez is bloody class
chapero82 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 I think we will do the same as southampton last season
