Leicesterpool Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 What a day, first 45 you've got to say it was pretty stale from the foxes. Second we were much improved and probably got we deserved, Watford didn't look a bad side to be honest. They looked quite organised until that error from Gomez.

Few realise we do actually have decent players and aren't where we are by luck. Can you point me towards any specific posts? I'm looking but I can't see a huge amount of bitterness. Frustration perhaps, but not much bitterness. Okay, maybe one poster, but that seems to be it.

Things are really going our way at the moment, considering the penalties Palace and WBA could have had followed by the Gomes error today (and Ighalo's shot against the post). Shame to see another game where Mahrez had no impact in the number ten role. I think it's partly because we're always better in the second half though. UFS were even better than normal today. Bochum lads must have helped a bit. Pinching myself at all this. Never want it to end.

Corky Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Not a great performance, didn't attack with too much fluency and surrendered a lot of space on the midfield but with some luck we managed to win another game. Morgan was excellent at the back, crucial interceptions and touches and a lovely through ball for Vardy's penalty. The wingers didn't really get involved, Mahrez was in and out, Okazaki just doesn't look threatening although puts in a hell of a shift, Huth dealt pretty well with Ighalo and Deeney. Schmeichel didn't have a huge amount to do but one fabulous save after they hit the post. Watford look a well organised side and this is a good win because they've been tough to beat and break down. We just keep going, by hook or by crook, and that is the sign of a good team.

To be honest, no one really has got punished for swearing at officials before... I'm not condoning it, but it goes on a lot, guess that this is clear though and it does worry me action will be taken.

trabuch Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 No big deal the Vardy thing - just shut up about it. I thought today was a very good performance. Measured them up 1st half and battered them 2nd, 2-1 flattered Watford.. I know it's an odd feeling, but we are a very good side - get used to it.
