Chelsea at home.. Thoughts!

Newcastle's win puts Chelsea only 2 points above the relegation zone.

IF the following happens:

Norwich beat Everton, Swansea win at or draw with Manchester City, Bournemouth beat Manchester United at home, and Newcastle defeat Spurs at White Hart Lane, they will already be in the relegation zone by the time the game kicks off on Monday.

Let that sink in. That alone should be our motivation to smash them 3-0. We can do it!

Ulloa over Shinji for me to start. We defend set pieces better with him on the pitch. If it were him defending that Man U corner we would have had 3 points. Our defence is pretty sound otherwise. Simpson has upped his game, but Mahrez will need some support defending on that wing, or a swap with Albrighton from time to time.

I am glad that Chelsea will have the CL match. Jose will not want to go out especially to a Portuguese team. If Chelsea do go out then there may be a replacement by Monday.

3 points would be Luverly Jubbly. Arsenal have Man City on the 19th and we would be certain of at least second place at Christmas.

I can see us losing this.

Whilst they're having an awful season so far, they still have the quality to be dangerous and Jose often does well against managers he has argy with.

Its the kind of game that's a real shitter for us. If we lose, the press will have a field day with shitloads of 'they cant do it against the big teams' but win it and it'll be about how Chelsea are having problems.

To be honest, i'd be more than happy with a draw.

I'm confident. The way Chelsea are playing they are so low on confidence and the way we are playing we should destroy them. Their defence is also very slow and if they have a lot of possession I can really see us taking 3 points from this. They are nowhere near the team they were last season. It may even be JM's last game (hopefully not though I like the fella)

The way chelsea are going they cannot score, they are solid in other areas though.

However they cannot handle pace Schlupp should start ahead of Albrighton

There's always the danger they'll stop being shit, and use their individual talent in some kind of crazy wild cohesive team performance, but of course beating them with the possibility of ****ing Mourinho--professionally since I'm hoping for fewer scandals than last season--would be amazing. It seems unlikely they'll be shit all season, but even if they do pick things up, I wouldn't discount us at all. It really could go either way for me, but based on our team spirit I'm optimistic.

I'm more annoyed I have to wait until Monday for this. Christ all mighty, I'd be up for another match pretty much now.

Hoping this doesn't happen. That may give them a kick up the backside to actually play decently. I'd prefer apathy!

I would play Dyer and Schlupp on the wings, destroy them with pace. Mahrez in the hole behind Vardy.

2-0 City win.

Really.  Change a team that is on fire and has been killing teams with pace on the counter.   Thank goodness CR is the manager.

Just looked up match odds on SkyBet.

We are 15/8, the Draw 12/5, Chelsea 7/5.

It really makes you laugh doesn't it!

That must be some kind of record for a top of the league side at home to a bottom half side at this stage of the season.

Yeah, sounds very likely lol

2-1 win, the individual quality in their team cannot be underestimated

We are an unstoppable force atm though and the way we are playing i cannot see us losing this

I see Mahrez tipping his buddy and teammate Brahimi about them for the mid-week game and vice versa for Monday's game :P. Mahrez & Brahimi r good buddies with a common goal this week , beating Chelsea :)

Just get a them and fck them over, they are so fragile at the moment!

I think we made a mistake v Man U, showing them too much respect, and i we don't have the same cagey approach v Cheatski. I would like to see us tear into them and pressure them into all sorts of panic.

Chelsea are due for a twatting, and we might be the team to give it to them.  5-1 to City, pathetic Chelsea collapse and Mourinho going off on one before being Sacked Tuesday morning.
