That would be fantastic. If Costa could get sent off in the process for his bitch-slapping and pantomime antics that would be the perfect day 5-1 to us, Vardy with all 5 (he's well overdue a goal)

nnfox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I love the fact that our team is so good at the moment that we can go into games against the likes of Chelsea actually believing we should win the game. It's crazy but deserved because the team has been immense so far. We have quality all over the park and pace to burn which frightens the life out of pretty much everyone we play. I am really looking forward to this game. Part of me thinks that football has a funny sense of irony and after Claudio set up the Chelsea team for Mourinho to take the title the following season, wouldn't it be ironic that 10 years later, it is Claudio that puts the final nail in Mourinho's coffin. On the other hand, despite their poor season, Willian is a fantastic player and absolutely deadly from a set piece which worries me and other little things like Costa is surely going to turn up at some point. Also there is nothing like playing Leicester when on a goal drought and Eden Hazard hasn't scored in something like 500 games (maybe not exact - but a long time), he is surely due a goal?

I honestly think Mourinho's presence is a hindrance this season as much as anything. He keeps picking under-performers.

He should be dominating the six yard box and clearing the ball instead of running after attacking forwards.

Elliot or Walsh wouldn't have been able to do anything about an inswinging corner with pace like that.

Switching Huth and Morgan to zonal could help.

Whilst they're having an awful season so far, they still have the quality to be dangerous and Jose often does well against managers he has argy with. Its the kind of game that's a real shitter for us. If we lose, the press will have a field day with shitloads of 'they cant do it against the big teams' but win it and it'll be about how Chelsea are having problems. To be honest, i'd be more than happy with a draw. Good post....

If we're at the top of our game we've got every chance, but if Chelsea play to what they're capable of, they could cause us problems. I think any three results are possible, and with the state they're in I'd like to think we could win. But if you offered me a draw I'd probably take it and move on.
