filbertway Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Not at our best and we still beat the champions. No team top of the PL after 16 games has EVER finished outside the top 4. Guess I'm gonna have to start believing after all. It really is unbelievable. What a team. To be honest I think that is us at our best, people said the same against Man U, it's not a coincidence that people always seem to think we're not at our best against these teams with quality throughout. It seems stupid even now to think of us finishing in the top 4, but I'd be absolutely gutted to be the first team to not achieve that haha.

Really indicative of the spirit, willingness to fight for one another and all for one mentality that has done so much for us this season. They were all fking incredible tonight.

I put £20 on you lot to finish in the top 4 after 3 or 4 games this season at 100/1. Not looking too shabby! Absolute breath of fresh air this season. I love Ranieri, always smiling and never whinging like most PL managers. There's a lot to be said for a bloke who always smiles. Vardy and Mahrez just incredible, and not spoilt primadonna mercenaries who think they just deserve the win for turning up. Not glory hunting and I'm a Barnsley fan through and through (I actually run a Tykes forum very similar to this one!), but Leicester this season have restored my faith in football when I almost gave up on it between the inflated ticket prices, Sky Sports prices and overpaid mercenaries. Please, please, please go on and win the league. It would be incredible, and I think every non-PL team fan wants you to win it.
