RowlattsFox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Manage to win on Saturday and we'll be in an amazing position with Arsenal and city playing each other.
Kasey Keller Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Chelsea have major problems Hazard ducked out with a poorly back - he just didn't fancy it tonight, he's gone in January
easilee Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 They did - they played with the handbrake on for 60 minutes. Yeah they did actually. My gripe was more with the amount of time they spent talking about how crap they were rather than what we did. To be expected I suppose. Still bugs tho.
Corky Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Only Man City now that we haven't taken points from since promotion.
Blue Ed Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Potentially a blessing in disguise? It would have been difficult to change a winning team, but we will need to rotate between now and February. The bigger concern for me - Vardy is one booking away from a one match ban. That's the one area we don't have an obvious replacement. We're going to pick up injuries and suspensions as the season goes on. If we can bring in a couple of summer targets early in Jan that would be good. Cheakky bid for Remy?
Vacamion Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I own the company All right, Victor Kiyam. Calm down....
foxes_rule1978 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Chelsea have major problems Hazard ducked out with a poorly back - he just didn't fancy it tonight, he's gone in January Even before the injury he was awful, lost the ball everytime... Pedro was more of a threat
EGBFitness Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 If we get result against Everton and Arsenal/City draw does that guarantee us number spot going into 2016 no matter what the Liverpool result is?
VLC86 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 What the **** has happened? Unbelievable, lost for words.
MooseBreath Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Needed those two fantastic goals because apart from that we didn't create much. But when you can score goals like that you've always got a chance. Defence and Kante were great. Mahrez world class, Vardy did his job, King slotted in nicely although I thought we missed the more combative nature of Drinkwater 2nd half. Slightly less good, I thought Albrighton was hit and miss again, although he did improve 2nd half and nearly scored so that's a minor complaint. Ulloa had a decent first half but was woeful again for most of the 2md half. Vardy kept having to remind him to close them down and it was no surprise that we had to contend with wave after wave of (fortunately toothless) Chelsea attacks because Ulloa just let's players walk past him. His touch in the 2nd half was abysmal and he should have been pulled after 55 minutes at most.
The Guvnor Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Another amazing performance and deserved win, wish I had a bit of the 1000-1 top 4 finish.
EnderbyFox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Riyad Mahrez cost us about a week and a half of Wayne Rooneys wages.
Izzy Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Drank two bottles of wine watching that. I'm very pissed but very happy. Will have a headache in the morning but it's worth it. Just so proud right now. Phone hasn't stopped with texts and everyone wants a piece of us right now. I love it. I love Leicester City. Good night..
VLC86 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 We're going to pick up injuries and suspensions as the season goes on. If we can bring in a couple of summer targets early in Jan that would be good. Cheakky bid for Remy? Cheakky bid for Remy while eating a cheakky Nandos with the cheakky girls I say.
Tincy Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Two million to one at the start of the season for vardy to be top goalscorer and us to win the league wow
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 We're going to pick up injuries and suspensions as the season goes on. If we can bring in a couple of summer targets early in Jan that would be good. Cheakky bid for Remy? Agreed, but it's when those injuries happen that can be crucial... and it might not be the worst time for it to happen. Looked like a hamstring injury for Drinky so on a conservative scale you're looking at 2-6 weeks? Comes back a bit fresher in February? You've now got players coming in over Christmas keen to prove a point.
Jakemoore Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Wow. Just wow. Am I ever going to wake up? This is sensational. I cannot tell you how proud I am to wear my Leicester tracksuit top in London as I do most weeks. I've always worn by colours but now it's a different feeling all together. What a team we have and what a club. We deserve to be top of the league. Long may it continue!
fuchsntf Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Manage to win on Saturday and we'll be in an amazing position with Arsenal and city playing each other. Your an hard one to bloody satisfy....we have just gone...wwwwwdww, but you still cant get enough. King dick is on the Lancastrian trail, so no probs.
Richmondfox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I still hold on to we are a better side with Ulloa We are winning so something is working, just imagine how much stronger we would be if his half chances and scuffs are turned into shots and goals. The games where we can ping more balls in, like Newcastle last season, we will get the best from him. He has been such help in defence and bullied Chelsea rather than their usual bully tactics. I have a go at him but it's because I want, expect and know he can do more and he will. The same for Shinji, Bennie and Inler.
TrentFox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Watched that in the bar area at large hotel in Liverpool. I haven't seem a bar of neutrals so enthralled by a game in years. Loving this new found respect and admiration for all that is happening at our club. I've always been proud to be a Leicester fan, but I'm not used to other fans being envious of us.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I watched the match, and that's my opinion, if you think its guff, maybe you need to get your head out of Arse and understand people have differing opinions and if they do Not agree with yours does not make any less relevant then yours or guff as you say Fundamentally, people who believe all opinions are equal are morons. E.g. If your opinion is that guns in America save lives, your opinion is valueless and wrong. Your opinion is better than that, but still indefensibly wrong. You probably can't help it though, so don't take it personally.
Fox in the Forest Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 not yet read any of this thread yet, but listening to Sports Bar on TalkSport & getting really frustrated: why can't they just accept that: after 16 games: we're better. Than the rest. Simple. And it wasn't Chelsea's fault...! ;-)
urban.spaceman Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 What the **** has happened? Unbelievable, lost for words. It's 2015. David Cameron is Prime Minister. Leicester City just beat reigning champions Chelsea to go two points clear at the top of the Premier League. Chelsea are now only 1 point above the relegation zone. Conclusive evidence has been found for the existence of God. (He supports Leicester)
