Arsenal must have a longer unbeaten home record around the season of the invincible??

A season is 19 home games... depends if they were beaten just before or after I guess... will have to look it up now

You are right , checked it, we need to win the next 5 it seems to equal that home record. It is still on though

I calculated Arsenal as 32 but Chelsea make it all a bit irrelevant !

Chelsea went 86 home games without defeat between 2004 and 2008.

So just 66 home games to go then!

Let's do this thing!!!

Ah you are right again, need to check my facts better lol I only counted up to when they were beaten and didn't continue to count the home games ... seems with Chelsea it is unreachable now :( thought we could get this one

Not entirely crazy although the  first one might develop into one in few weeks

  • Crystal Palace are just the fifth Premier League side to score against Leicester at home in their past 16 games at the King Power Stadium.
  •

That stat is even better when you consider two of those games were consolation goals at 3-0 down.

Mini stat:

We're the only British club to win in both the Champion's League and domestic league this round of fixtures!

The Palace - Liverpool game yesterday was the first Premier League game to have four headed goals in the first half since 1998.

Remember? Unforgettable commentary  -

'Heskey! - inside 90 seconds!'

'Izzet - this is incredible! Two minutes fifteen seconds!'

'Heskey again!'

'Marshall - another headed goal! - 4-0 inside 15 minutes!! And some Derby fans have seen enough!

Great stat and remember that game well.,.  Awesome!

Vardy's sending off looked to have scuppered Leicester's chances of taking anything from Stoke, as Claudio Ranieri's men quickly found themselves 2-0 down.

But, against the odds, the 10 men of the Foxes scored two late goals to snatch an unlikely point.

It was only the sixth time in Premier League history that a team has managed to pull back a two-goal deficit while playing with a one-man disadvantage.

From BBC colum about lucky charms.

Every League game this season we have scored first in we have won.

Or if we don't score first we don't win...

Not exactly a stat but made me chuckle when I realised it:

Despite losing almost half our matches and languishing in 15th, we are five times more likely to win the Premier League this season than we were last season according to some bookies:IMG_0629.PNG

Just makes you realise the impossibility of last season.

The fathead that is Robbie Savage, "expert pundit", says the title should have been given to Chelsea at Christmas!!

Since then they've been stuffed by the team that came 3rd in a 2 horse race and have now lost 3 games with half a season to go.

The mighty Leicester City only lost 3 all throughout last season and had to wait until May to become Champions!!

We're the only team in the Premier League who haven't dropped points from a winning position.

Good news is that once once we get ahead we don't let it go. Bad news is that means we've only been ahead 5 times in 22 games. 5 times!! That's really worrying.

Mahrez - hasn't scored from open play in the premier league this season.

Vardy - failed to score in 19 out of his last 20 games.

Regardless of service - that is extremely poor by both.

Vardy's only scored in 3 games all season. That's staggering.

Probably had more front covers on OK magazine than games he has scored in. lol

Kante has now won more tackles in the Premier League than any other player over 3 seasons...

And he's only done 1 1/2!!!

i read he won 14/16 tackles last night. 14 tackles in one game is insane. if you look through the stats, you're doing really well if you average 3 tackles a game. 14 is probably more than most teams win in a game. what a footy player he is.
