No player in Premier League history has ever had a longer 100% scoring record on an away ground than Jamie Vardy’s 5 in 5 at The Hawthorns.

Ha I thought it only matched it. Nice!

So many stats:

Vardy’s 5 in 5

Today’s win is only the second time we have won on the opening day of the Premier League, the first time we did went well.

We are Billic’s bogey team, he’s only collected 1 point from us in 6 games.

I think it's the 3rd. I think we beat Villa on an opening day in the 90s.

Leicester earned their first Premier League away win since New Year's Day (3-0 at Newcastle), ending a run of eight games without a win on the road (D3 L5).

An historical one! I had no idea about this Chandler stat!

Arthur Chandler scored 17 hat-tricks for Leicester and 259 league goals in all for the club but missed both penalties he ever took.

So Jamie Vardy is up on that count.

Since 2007 we've...

I'll let someone else do it.

Am I missing something? The last time they were top was 2007, but it's only the highest position since 2016? Were they higher than 1st in the PL in 2016, then?

I guess that in 2016 was the closest they’ve been to first since?
