splinterdream Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 The pundits are unsure so what's the score?
Mark_w Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Usually I'd say no, but we need to take advantage of Steve Walsh as frequently as possible before he leaves.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 only players that will improve the team so it isn't going to be cheap, but I think we won't have a better chance to be champions of England
EnglishOxide Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Cheeky bid for Martial or Embolo and that will do.
Exeter Fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Now is a better time than ever to attract quality players and build on our success.
lgfualol Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Yes. Don't like the fact if Schmeichel gets injured we have an OAP in goal, or if Fuchs gets injured we have Schlupp at left-back. Think we should get a very good winger or centre attacking mid.
matty98 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Wouldn't be against 1 or 2 signings but wouldn't want to see massive changes
hackneyfox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Usually I'd say no, but we need to take advantage of Steve Walsh as frequently as possible before he leaves.Where's he off to then?
Thracian Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Those three words, "never sit still" were the ones that came into my mind. An aspiring team should always be trying to strengthen whether it be in individual positions or the collective options. Yes, the situation is so dramatically changed from a few years back in that every position looks pretty strong. But the scouting process should never cease to identify new recruits with the ability/attitude/potential to improve us still further. All teams have weaknesses and ours is no different - particularly where cover is concerned. That's a much nicer comment to make from the top of the league than the bottom but that shouldn't stop us continuing to move forwards.
kingfox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Steve Walsh is knowledgeable enough to track players who wouldn't disrupt the team. I'm sure a lot of players would want to come here after looking at the table, the way we play and the close knit bond the team has. Of course we don't need many, maybe one or two, I'd definitely get rid of Kramaric and get in a replacement.
katieakita Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Never sit still and having guaranteed a PL position for next season shoulld look to bolster the squad, our staff have more than enough about them to bring in players who won't disrupt the team spirit. Just with the nature of the league see us breaking our transfer record in Jan.
dorsetboy Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 i think we could bring in 4 quality players actually 1. a back up for kasper cuz i have no faith in old man mark 2. a right back simpson has been good but we could do better and i think de laet is to attack minded 3. left wing as good as albrighton has been he has dipped in and out of games lately and a lot of times we have had to put mahrez on that side and bring on dyer but mahrez plays better on the right. 4. another striker shinji does not look dangerous enough and ulloa not fit enough either bring someone in or start giving kram a run
EGBFitness Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 New striker in the mouldy of Vardy for back up
Heymister2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Weren't be upsetting anything if we sell Kramaric and add a striker! As well as signing a winger! We only have mahrez, albrighton! Ranieri doesn't seem to rate dyer and schlupps injured
johnny the fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 If the right target is available of course we should sign em..
Finn Claw II Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Norwich didn't strengthen and it cost them. Valdez, Austin, Byram. Done.
apollo4joe Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 If the right players are available why wouldn't we? Course we should, but they've gotta be the right players
dylanlegend Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 2-3 quality signings will do nicely. Even a Mahrez- style player (hidden Gem) would be good. Much like when we won he championship, Mahrez played a big part after he was signed.
dylanlegend Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 New striker in the mouldy of Vardy for back up There's only one Jamie Vardy!! Okazaki is probably the closest Player to Vardy. Austin would be a good addition.
Socks Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 yes of course we should sign, but.... put them on the bench at start whilst this team keep winning then play them.... but if they start slumping bring on the new signings
Jimmy Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 if they find someone good enough that will fit in with the group buy him. As big a fan of Kasper as I am I wouldn't say no to a more dominate keeper, would go a long way to sorting our set piece problems
Socks Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 our current squad should not lose out to a new player, unless they are poor all have been immense
