If he was better than Wasyl, there wouldn't be an issue... but he can't even play ahead of him. Wasyl has barely played either so I'm not sure what difference it would have made. The bloke wants to play football and he didn't have the pedigree to walk straight into our starting 11.

Your point seemed to be indicating that the only way to strengthen your squad is to sign player better than the starting 11. My point is, I believe that to be incorrect. You can strengthen the squad by buying bench players, so long as they are better than your current bench players. In this case, he hasn't been better and because of that it's pretty much a total waste of cash, especially on someone that age.
