We weren't great. Mahrez, Dyer and Vardy had shockers. We should of beaten a 10 man Bournmouth.

However one bad result is probably fair enough as we have had good results all season. I will quickly forget about this match.

It doesn't matter what squad Arsenal have got. On paper Chelsea have a far better squad.

All that matters are points on the board. If we strengthen correctly we could challenge beyond top 4. If we get top 4 it would be unreal.

So many 3rd conditional errors right now.

Are you surprised? The majority of posters on this forum are from Leicester. It doesn't take much to turn this forum into an irrational blur of poor grammar and testosterone.

We need another winger and a front man to play alongside vardy who has different qualities but is very very good .

On a side note a draw is a draw the minute they had a man sent off it then becomes a ten man defence and come on we have lost 3 league games since about April .

We've all had a great time prob one of the best spells in our history with the players who played today so how anyone can slate them is beyond me .

Also disgusted with the fans that were leaving early please just give up your season tickets that you only got cuz were prem and let proper fans have them who have been there since the league 1 days and will stay and sing until the boys are on their way down the tunnel.

Very much a missed opportunity. It has been clear from the last 3-4-matches that a bit of rot/staleness has set in to our performances. I'm surprised Ranieri hasn't been more proactive and done just a bit of tinkering to keep things fresh. Not a good idea to wring every last drop out of key players (i.e. Vardy) before you give them a rest or persist with players who aren't really performing (Ulloa and Okazaki).

Very frustrating, god knows how we couldn't break a team like Bournemouth down, it was like the Leicester of old when we're chasing for a goal, just chipping balls into the box, very one dimensional, it was never going to work with Vardy & Okazaki up front. Mahrez was shocking, his confidence looked shot in the first half, and as for the penalty you just knew he was going to miss.

On the bright side the defence again were decent, while Kante was yet again the best player on the pitch.

Finally, Nathan Dyer can fvck off back to Swansea :D

Just admit it...Arsenal are better than us and a far better squad.

Too many on here, darent look at the truth.

Arsenal, now have a great chance for the Title, I dont particular like them, but dont do silly comparisons

just because we foxes are playing among the big boys.

They could put out 3 players, behind Vardy and Marhrez if our 2 got injured, and were on their books, we cant put out 1.

I'm not saying they aren't lol I'm using them as an example, no team will have perfect results all season. This is our blip and it is far from a disaster

First Half they were the better side, 2nd half was a complete role reversal. The annoying thing was the lack of imagination in the last half hour when they were down to 10 men. Vardy, Mahrez, Ulloa and Albrighton all very sub standard performances. and Nathan Dyer's cameo was potentially the worst I have seen in a while.

Some positives though, clean sheet and and the back 4 looked solid. Kante and Drinkwater played well together again. Seems to be if Vardy or Mahrez don't score then we have very few goal threats in the side. In January that needs addressing, and although I rate Gray I'm not sure he is ready for this level.

So we need to drop Vardy but not play Ulloa or Okazaki. Andrej - is that you?

If we are serious about cementing a place in the top four, then today's display emphasises that:

- We need a pacy, tall striker to play alongside Vardy. Ulloa, Okazaki and Kramaric appear to be out of their depth

- We need a pacy, tricky winger. Sadly, Dyer had a very poor game today. If he's not got enough for Swansea, I suspect that the same applies to a team pushing for a Champions League place

- It would be nice to have an attack minder right back. Simpson didn't have a bad game, put Stanislas was always a danger down their left. Credit to Simpson for the way he has forced into himself into the team, but we need better quality

- Are we ever going to score from a set piece?

Just a really poor game, Bournemouth defended very well once they had gone down to 10 men, we should have done better, but they deserve credit for how they held it out. We weren't any good in the first half and I thought mahrez was awful in the first half and gave the ball away quite a lot, it just wasn't his day today which is a shame, but we need other players to step and to try and score, and ease the burden from Vardy and mahrez getting the goals. We need another striker in the transfer window.

Frustrating that's all really, fans need to stop believing the hype and enjoy the rest of the season, 40 points from 20 games is hardly believable. The players have 10 days off now as I can't see them playing in the FA cup.

A little disappointed, however I can't complain as the lads have done superbly well this season. Kante, Simpson, Drinkwater, Fuchs and Morgan were all good today in my opinion.

Bournemouth first half was superb. They distributed the ball around well and at half time it was probably the fair result. Second half was all Leicester, we had chances and could of won, but at the same time I'll hand it to Bournemouth they defended resiliently. 40pts now, Premier League survival pretty much guaranteed so that's a major positive for us. We move on.

Back home and still fuming.

Absolutely dog shite that was.

Joked the other day the wheels had come off and we'd go on a bad run. Defo think it now.

The two spurs games will be tough while if we play like that vs Villa too i wouldn't nr confident of a win

Mahres lost us this game with his fcuking stop start run, never to take another one.

We need to sort ourselves out the fight is starting to go from the whole team.

Got to this post and I've lost the will to read on. Get a grip people. Today wasn't our day but we've had many this season that have been and we will again.

It feels like all the idiots who booed at the end have come on here to moan and talk utter tripe.

And Mahrez (yes, I spelt it correctly) didn't lose us the game. We DREW!

Frustrating game. As soon as Bournemouth went down to 10 men you could see they we're just going to park the bus and we could have played for hours and still not score.

Mahrez's penalty just summed up our performance. It was a great opportunity to get back on track with a win but credit to Bournemouth for making it a frustrating night for us.

That was a horrible game. Biggest two points dropped since we've been back in the Premier League for me.

It's not about believing the hype is it? For me it's not anyway.

  • It was Bournemouth, no disrespect to Bournemouth, they're having a great season, they're a tough team, but you would say Leicester are favourites to win, of course we have to turn up and play well (Normally hate people saying "It's only [enter team name] but the point i'm making is you'd make us big favourites to win)
  • We missed a penalty, our fault, but it's guilt edged chance
  • We were playing against 10 men for a majority of the 2nd half - At 0-0 i'd expect to go on an win the match against anyone if they get a player sent off.

Now even if we were in a relegation battle like last season under those circumstances i'd still be annoyed with the poor and disappointing performance today, nothing to do with where we are in the league, with the fact surrounding the game, in the context it's nothing to do with hype.

Drinkwater aside everyone looked absolutely shattered today.

Would make a good 8 or 9 changes on Sunday as we need to get our shit together a bit because although we've kept them out today, we were a bit all over the place.

We've scored ZERO goals in three matches since playing Liverpool. Before that we've scored in every match.

We've only conceded one goal though.

What's gone wrong?

Delaying the inevitable?

Cunning plan by Ranieri. Make it look as though Vardy and Mahrez are not as good as all the big teams originally thought. They stay in January, get back to normal service and we win the Premier League!
