Fooking dreadful. If we're faced with any sort of team that defend and don't let us counter, we are terrible. We have become so one-dimensional, Pearson taught us to play attacking football and Ranieri is teaching long balls with sporadic counter attacks. Dreadful.

Haha. Pearson, the guy that had us playing 541 in home games against other relegation teams at the hope of a point?

We were league top scorers about 3 games ago.

Am I just being stupid, but does it matter whether you win the ball or not, it's a foul no matter what!?

He definitely got the ball but whether or not he tackled from behind, and thus took Vardy's standing leg from beneath him is a different story. Kante's been punished for that sort of tackle all season.

Penalty for me.

Have to splash out on a striker now while our stock is high. Never been so frustrated after a game.

We cannot have any complaints about what people were saying about us. We are a 2 man team going forward, and now the end products of the pair of them have dropped off a cliff we can't score.

Least he can't bang on with the 40 points shite any more. Bet he's over the moon with the 0-0s though so at least he and any Italian Leicester fans are happy.

Wow.

bournemouth must think we're shit, two of our three worst performances this season have come against them

We were worse at their place than we were here today... we created well enough to have won this game

One of those days, nothing more. The only thing that really concerns me is our new found tendency to play it back to Schmeichel for him to hoof it upfield. We don't have anyone upfield who can win more than one in ten of those balls. We're playing 442 so should have plenty of opportunity to get the ball on the floor and down the flanks, especially against such limited opponents.

The replays showed him scraping the ball but it not moving much and definite contact.

Don't matter. You just need to touch ball before man and it's fair whether it's a scrape or a thud. I ain't seen it yet so I dunno what he hits first.

Well we've reached 40pts so what now?

We should have won that, but Bournmouth will take points off many decent teams.

I really think we need to freshen up, desperate for a striker to take the load off Vardy's shoulders. Defence looks pretty solid.

Opposition getting to grips with Mahrez.

We did look tired and I think at least 4 players in will help that.

Not sure Gray is an immediate answer, but he's a good player. Let's see where we go.

welcome to the rough patch, now we will see what they are made of

Have to agree with this!

We looked to have no ideas to break then down.

Good time to play the f.a cup and see how the squad fairs up? Time to spend some pound notes me think ..... We've been found out !

This. And he doesn't get enough of the ball. Doesn't get it too far out of Vardy's path.

Can see why the Ref gave it, looked a typical penalty unless you had better view and slow mo we got on the replay. Could have had a second too

Referee was poor.  Got both penalty incidents wrong.  Gave the first one incorrectly, their player did just nick the ball away, and waved away the second when it was a clear push in the back.

Still, need to be ruthless when taking the pen.  Had a feeling Mahrez would miss it, he's had a bad day.

We move on, it's far from disastrous.

Bournemouth won at Chelsea

..Beat Manchester United..

No mugs!

Should have been in front at half time.

Dubious penalty..

Draw a fair result?

...but our 280 minutes without a goal is worrying!

Vardy and Mahrez need a rest.. We need depth and new signings next week.

Gray already in, but he's one for the future, can't chuck him straight in (apart from the cup match).

Hope we sign Austin... Ulloa and okazaki just NOT good enough.

No, you need to win the ball. If you touch it but don't move it then you've not won the ball - it's still there for the striker if you don't pull him down.

FFS you lot

We are punching WAY above our weight this season

on paper we should be bottom half, yeah we have a few good players, but they are knackered for the effort they have put in in  past 5 months, u can clearly see that.

but... we are 2 points from the leaders! and are safe this season! enjoy it a little and see where it goes.  Its nice to enjoy the last half of the season without stressing about going down.   I am sure we will get a few decent signings in January.. who knows!

some of you expect us to win the PL hands down for some reason....

yeah i wanna see the penalty again, in real time i was adamant it was a pen but obviously on the replay you can see him getting the ball. Its whether or not he nicks vardy before getting the ball, would want to see it again.

The ref kinda balanced it out at the end though when we should have had a penalty but yeah, the red card was harsh and it does seem to me that bournemouth have been getting some of the rotten decisions and luck that we had last season. Promoted club syndrome eh!

CUE overreacting drama llamas....

Ditto, repeat 20 times.Too many scottish doom merchants on fox forum..

20 games gone, we have only Arsenal in front of us.

Oh.mmmmm, just a minute, not too sure, must need new glasses..no WE ARE STILL 2ND.

3 GAMES only picked up 2 pts....eerrrm

Against Multi 10mil players, away from home.only 2nd loss.Could of grabbed a pt

Against multi 30mil+ players, Best squad in the Land, well earned pt

Today, should of won in a poor 1st half performance.Missed open play chances..Also a penalty,

Now stab in the back time...oh yes sir, because that what the moaning sounds like..!!!

wonder if we're still too good to sign austin? he would have had a hatful today, vardy needs to start placing the ball home instead of trying to put his foot through it all the time

This season has the potential to be truly transformative for the club, so of course it's disappointing "dropping 2 points" from games that look winnable. At least safety has been assured, but if not this season, then when? Have to capitalize on the club's current position and TV money to bring quality throughout the squad.

Silly overreactions on here. We haven't been playing well for a couple of weeks now, from the Everton game on. That dip in form has ended up with 1 win, 1 loss, 2 draws. Its not the end of the world, it was inevitable we'd lose form at some point, and we're not losing games. The spine of the team has played virtually every minute all season, theyre now running on empty. Definitely need some signings to freshen it up, especially going forward, where there's a real drop in quality once the main men are off the pace a bit. The test is how quickly we can come out of this slump - here's where Ranieri really earns his wages.

Time to keep the faith I think, remember who we are, where we've come from and what we've already achieved, rather than launching into rants about how shit everyone is.

Surprised people are saying that was a penalty. Never in a million years. Great tackle. Bournemouth were very unlucky with that.

The one in injury time was though.
