No, you need to win the ball. If you touch it but don't move it then you've not won the ball - it's still there for the striker if you don't pull him down.

Pretty sure you just need to touch the ball, that would be some peoples definition of "win" anyway. Like I say I ain't seen it I'll make my own mind up later.

wonder if we're still too good to sign austin? he would have had a hatful today, vardy needs to start placing the ball home instead of trying to put his foot through it all the time

Not sure we can really criticise the Premiership's leading scorer can we? So unlucky with the chance that hit the post. Inch to the right and it's in off the post

That's defo wrong, as long as you hit the ball first and clean you can completely clean your opponent out

If you go through player to get the ball it's a foul. Full stop.

Edit: unless it's excessive force

Some of our 'fans' need to have a word with themselves lol

Played 20,40 points nothing to be disappointed about.

It shows how far we have come that we are disappointed at what seemed 2 points dropped.Sounds like Ar*e were poor but won.

Drinky non existent

Be quiet, thats a very silly thing to say.

Anyone else watch the players warming up routine and shooting against Shwartzer? Vardy didn't get one shot on target from about 10! Not saying he has lost it, just that he was having an off day.

If the bornmuff player dont go through Vardy, he dont get the ball, thats a foul and a pen

I'm sure you have to touch the ball first, and I thought he got Vardy first

Well then that's a different situation all together.

I can see why there's discussion about today's instance, does he go through Vardy's leg before he gets the ball? It's a tough call because it's very close.

dont get me wrong i'm not having a go at vardy but against swansea, man city and today he's had three really good one on ones where he's gone for power when placement was probably called for.

anyway, he probably needs the week off to get back to where he was and get some confidence back, scored 1 in 6 i think so confidence may have taken a slight knock

Poor, but won... It's what champions do!

Bournemouth are decent and tactically matched us. Taking Ulloa off cost us aerial presence in the 2nd half, so many crosses but overpowered by there centre backs. If have been tempted to take Simpson off for was, go 3 at the back and whack Huth up top (Steve Walsh style)

We hit a bump in the road and react the usual Leicester way all doom and gloom, We are second in the league and have 40 points what else could you ask for?

Please don't tell me he's actually said they'll be celebrating with champagne for getting to 40 points. What a fvcking pathetic mentality.

Funniest thing is, reading some of the posts on here is just like watching City today.... Frustrating! lol

Apart from some individually poor performances and silly mistakes why can't people respect the way Bournemouth set up!? Every attack we had they had 7 in the box, it is always going to be a hard game when a team play like that and coming in with a good run of form.

We looked tired and we seemed to not have the answers when we needed to change our style of play. We do heavily depend on games being stretched to cause damage, hopefully Jan can see a few quality signings who can bring something different with some missing quality we need (how easy to find in Jan remains questionable)

Penalty after replays looked little harsh as he did get the ball but angle ref was at can see why it was given. A player going to ground in that position knows that unless they have got a very solid touch on the ball they are giving a penalty away. We should of had a penalty when Vardy cut across his player so you could argue that levelled itself up anyways!?

Hopefully 10 day break can give some players a much needed rest now and kick on through the season.

Would be happy to go out in FA cup and just play reserves/youth. (Would be funny to dig up the FA Cup v League thread from summer if we get knocked out against Spurs but manage a top 4 finish) lol

Not our day. Bournemouth dragged us down to their level, and boy were their players and fans happy to do so.

Big rest now, get Gray in and have a go at Spurs in the cup with the reserves.

Any Bourmemouth fans reading- how does it feel to know you actively pursued a player who we've potentially just strolled in and taken for 3.75m lol

FFS you lot

We are punching WAY above our weight this season

on paper we should be bottom half, yeah we have a few good players, but they are knackered for the effort they have put in in  past 5 months, u can clearly see that.

but... we are 2 points from the leaders! and are safe this season! enjoy it a little and see where it goes.  Its nice to enjoy the last half of the season without stressing about going down.   I am sure we will get a few decent signings in January.. who knows!

some of you expect us to win the PL hands down for some reason....

Yes, we may be in a better position than we could have dreamed of, but we still just drew 0-0 to a 10 man mediocre bournemouth and made them look good. Not scoring some of those chances is inexcusable whether you're sitting in 2nd or 15th. People are entitled to criticise that.
