tyfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 first half we looked nervous and tired which meant very sloppy football. we started very brightly after the break i thought and i honestly think if bournemouth had 11 men we would have came away with 3 points but a point is frustrating but ill take it as its better than none. lets remember where this team have come from.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 If I hear one more stuttered run up complaint some people shouldn't be allowed to comment on football. Didn't hear anyone moaning when he scored two in one game. He missed because he hit it at a nice height and boric went correct way fuk all to do with his stuttered run up.
bovril Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 if you stop mahrez and vardy Leicester wont score unfortunately .. we need to add more threats, new striker and attacking midfielder/winger, please. pls. Well in most professional team sports, if you stop the team's best player(s) you have a better chance of getting a result.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 RL caller saying we should have Defoe up front because Vardy can't cut it You can't be serious
filbertway Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Ball went straight to his feet. Intent or not it works out to be the perfect pass. Haha okay man, I'm not going to argue with you if you think it was the perfect pass.
STUHILL Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 It is a sequence of results we haven't dealt with since well last season ... you forget what it is like to not win a game in three, lose and two draws isn't a disaster though... at least our defence is good Defence is looking great at the moment. Simpson has really impressed me, as always saw him as the weak link, but our back 4 now are on fire. Wes should have scored though!
ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 But it didn't and was symptomatic of a tired, listless performance. That said we still created enough chances to win 5 games. bit harsh to describe it as that like. first half riyad's overhead and vardy cracking the post from about 5 yards. second half wes missed from inside the goal, we missed a penalty and we struggled, eventually, to break down a solid ten men on the edge of their area. happens to loads of teams. that said the fa cup has come at a good time. bit of a break, squad rotation, Spurs away in the league's a game we're "meant" to lose, too. pressure off mentally and physically for a fortnight or so. then we're back to our best and we win the league. easy.
potter3 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Here we go. Created Vard's chance. Missed a chance of his own. What exactly did Shinji do if you want to call Leo invisible? Or did you forget he was even on the pitch for 30'? Nobody said Shinji played well, doesn't mean Ulloa played well at all.
NewEnglandFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Nobody said Shinji played well, doesn't mean Ulloa played well at all. But it does create a pecking order of blame.
chapero82 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 welcome to the rough patch, now we will see what they are made of
kushiro Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Kante and Drinkwater do a fine job in the midfield engine room but when either of them gets the ball around the edge of the box the whole ground is praying 'Don't shoot!'

Like I say we created lots of chances but there was no urgency at all and you can hardly blame the players- they looked knackered, Vardy and Mahrez in particular.
bovril Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 But it does create a pecking order of blame. I love it, the foxestalk pecking order of blame. James Pearson a late climber to number 12.
Ozwin Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Kante looks like with a bit of shooting practice he could bang a few in. He's never far away. Drinkwater however...
Tuna Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Reminded me of the game against Oldham in League One. Remember when their keeper got sent off and Windass went in goal? Totally surreal, then we missed the peno and it ended up 0-0.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Was never a peno anyway. Yeah surprised this hasn't been mentioned, I think they were extremely unfortunate with that decision. Ref was hopeless.
bridport007 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 One of those day's...it happens. We are having a great season and should not let the odd game effect things. I think forget the FA cup and rest some players and concentrate on the league. On the plus side, it wasn't that long ago we'd have let one in today, but we're looking so much tighter at the back. All this talk in the press that we have had a bad Xmas period...really? we lost at Anfield and drew with Man City!!
The Doctor Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Was never a peno anyway. Really? It was nailed on. Came in from behind, took out Vardy, didn't win the ball - got a touch but not enough to even change the trajectory of the ball. It was as cut and dry as you can get.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Was never a peno anyway. Agreed after looking at it, tough call the second one I actually thought was more of a Peno...

Looked a good tackle from where I was sat in the West Stand.
ealingfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Have to splash out on a striker now while our stock is high. Never been so frustrated after a game. We cannot have any complaints about what people were saying about us. We are a 2 man team going forward, and now the end products of the pair of them have dropped off a cliff we can't score. Least he can't bang on with the 40 points shite any more. Bet he's over the moon with the 0-0s though so at least he and any Italian Leicester fans are happy.
The Doctor Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Looked a good tackle from where I was sat in the West Stand. The replays showed him scraping the ball but it not moving much and definite contact.
Richmondfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Just one of those games. Lots of things going wrong and players just off their game. This added up across the whole team. I felt we wasted the first half by punting it up to Leo, he has no control and doesn't seem to be able to physically dominate defenders. The most annoying thing is the pundits and press who have been waiting for us to first lose 'as the bubble has burst', then when we drew they change the editorial to 'have the wheels have fallen off' now it will be have Mahrez and Vardys head been turned.
