RoboFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Two points lost. Very frustrating. Ulloa invisible and Dyer was absolutely woeful. Kanté our best player once again, and goes to show that when Vardy and Mahrez aren't firing, we have little else going forward.
SecretPro Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Frustrating and disappointing. Two points dropped woefully. Didn't look at the races in the first half at all and nobody except Kante yet again had a decent game. Mahrez poor, knew as soon as he missed the pen that would be the end of that. Need to invest in a world class striker in Jan because if Vardy dries up the whole team dries up. Ulloa was just plain awful today.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Must say fair play to Bournemouth, the better team first half and then showed exactly how to play with 10 men
Webbo Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Fooking dreadful. If we're faced with any sort of team that defend and don't let us counter, we are terrible. We have become so one-dimensional, Pearson taught us to play attacking football and Ranieri is teaching long balls with sporadic counter attacks. Dreadful. Did Pearson ever get us into to the top of the league? We're 1 point off last years total at the start of January, get a fvcking grip.
LanguedocFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Mahres lost us this game with his fcuking stop start run, never to take another one. We need to sort ourselves out the fight is starting to go from the whole team. Yes. We should have known that after he did the same thing against Everton.... Oh.
lgfualol Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Glad I wasn't able to watch that. Frustrating. Especially to have a penalty miss, it's like last season again nothing seems to go right. Vardy needs to start scoring again. Hope he isn't having another confidence crisis. A few new players please
bovril Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Seriously? How was that performance not woeful mate? It was tired and wasteful, not woeful. We missed two sitters to win it and kept Bournemouth quiet even before their red card.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 How long have you been saving that one up for? Some ludicrous responses so far in this thread. Roll on the cup... Sorry mate yeah forgot NP is awful etc etc
car1os Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Let's not forget that Bournemouth have had a good run of form recently - this was going to be a tough game against a well organised team who run and run and run... Frustrating to not win the game, sounds like some players need a rest, and we need to start scoring again and quick, but overall we're still exceeding expectations this season
Grewks Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I've said it before, and i will say it again. At least 8 teams in this league have better XI's and squads than us....miracle where we are. As for bournemouth, glad they got the point, the arrogance of our fans is disgusting, Sunderlandesque.
EGBFitness Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Tactically poor today, why does it take them going down to 10 men for our manager to decide to stop showing them respect. Bournemouth set up to frustrate us and hopefully Nick the win. If we over commit we play into the way they want. When they had 10 men on the pitch they had no choice but to play too deep and hope for the draw
J.Lisemore Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I think it's pretty clear that we need another striker to partner Vardy. Neither Okazaki or Ulloa are good enough for where we're at.
RobHawk Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Disappointing? Yes But am I the only one putting it down as one of those days? We couldn't even put a penalty away today but we still came away with a point. Bournemouth worked hard and looked good in the first half, they aren't the mugs some of you think. Finally, some perspective, it's 2nd January and we still lie 2nd with 40 points. Days like today happen to every team so we regroup and go again next week!
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I think if Bournemouth had 11 men for the rest of the game, we would have lost. We were absolute shit, short of ideas and quality. We urgently need quality players to add to the squad, no goals in 3 and quarter games for a team in our position is , yes a crisis because we didn't look like we'd score if we were playing until midnight. Bournemouth are a poor side, missing several players and we couldn't beat them at home against 10 men for a third of the match. We look like a spent force, we've ran out of ideas and steam. Our striking options, frankly are pitiful if you look beyond Vardy. Ulloa and Shinji are just not good enough. I think them going down to ten Is actually a reason they got a point, they had intentions of winning the game till that happened and we were getting at them in the second half as a result, after it was shut up shop
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 #cleansheetarmy I would rather go back to winning 3-2
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Mahres lost us this game with his fcuking stop start run, never to take another one. We need to sort ourselves out the fight is starting to go from the whole team. Do you talk shit for a living?
NewEnglandFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Ulloa invisible Here we go. Created Vard's chance. Missed a chance of his own. What exactly did Shinji do if you want to call Leo invisible? Or did you forget he was even on the pitch for 30'?
nickm Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 controversial but I still don't think kramaric could do worse than the other two! Agreed! Really can't see why he can't get a start-cant possibly be as bad as Ulloa
LanguedocFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 No goals in three games now. Whole team shite. Relegation looming. Pearson out. (delete as appropriate).
Rasmic123 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Fooking dreadful. If we're faced with any sort of team that defend and don't let us counter, we are terrible. We have become so one-dimensional, Pearson taught us to play attacking football and Ranieri is teaching long balls with sporadic counter attacks. Dreadful. what a load of tosh, are you seriously suggesting bournemouth are the only team we've played who have put 10 men behind the ball? Today was just not our day, the break will do us good as i think a lot of the players have run themselves into the ground
filbertway Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 That's the past 4 games we've not really looked too good at all. Definitely time to freshen things up. On a greedy point, I'm hoping this means Vardy will be pen taker now as I have him top scorer.
Richmondfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I can't wait for Ulloa to become the scapegoat to all of this. The first half at least. It seemed to be set up to keep punting the ball to him. When it works it's great but after the first 10 mistakes by him they should've changed tactics. Drinkwater plays too many floating balls for Vardy to get crowded out. Would've been better with Shinji from the start and Kram coming on at the end. We need to over run them not keep punting the balls. Ref was shocking. That stye of penalty from Mahrez is always risky and looks great until he misses.
