cairnsy Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Woeful Performance, but at least we will still be second by the end of this weekend.
Guest Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Disappointing. But we're 2nd in the league. Now rest all the starting 11 - except Ulloa - and give them 10 days break. In fact they should go away somewhere warm with the team and their families.
americanfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Disappointing? Yes But am I the only one putting it down as one of those days? We couldn't even put a penalty away today but we still came away with a point. Bournemouth worked hard and looked good in the first half, they aren't the mugs some of you think. Finally, some perspective, it's 2nd January and we still lie 2nd with 40 points. Days like today happen to every team so we regroup and go again next week! If it's a bit concerning, if anything it's because the last three performances haven't been too great. Need to freshen things up.
Devonfox1884 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Here we go. Created Vard's chance. Missed a chance of his own. What exactly did Shinji do if you want to call Leo invisible? Or did you forget he was even on the pitch for 30'? Shinji was just as bad, but you can't say he meant that ball for Vards, it was definitely a shot.
EGBFitness Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 He didn't help himself by wearing slippers instead of boots. On a positive note I can't really remember seeing Shinji on the ground today... Maybe he swapped his boots with Dyer today?
ramboacdc Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 target reached. anything from now on in is a bonus. lets enjoy the ride!
ousefox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Carbon copy of Hull at home last year. Absolutely awful. We need another striker who can score goals. If vardy gets injured, we are in trouble if we want top 6.
NewEnglandFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Can't see how anyone can defend Dyer from anything said, nothing would be overestimating his contribution to our play today. He actually had a negative effect on how we played he was that bad. Dyer was awful but these are the people that were begging for Leo to be gone so as far as I'm concerned, they made their bed and now they have to lie in it.
filbertway Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Here we go. Created Vard's chance. Missed a chance of his own. What exactly did Shinji do if you want to call Leo invisible? Or did you forget he was even on the pitch for 30'? I was hoping somebody would say he created Vardy's chance. Come on, it was a horribly hit shot. I counted Okazaki touched the ball 2 times, one was a pretty awful shot and the other a pass. Probably more as I was drifting between our game and Mr Stelling. Kram will get his chance in a disjointed side against Spurs, probably feed on scraps then resume his spot as 4th choice striker.
UPinCarolina Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 To be fair, if you don't rate that the worst performance of the season I don't know that we watched the same match. The sky isn't falling, but that one felt like getting getting gutted.
ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Didn't think we were that poor today. Three or four blatant goals that we somehow didn't bag, another day riyad scores goal of the decade and everyone's happy. They defended well and it was an obvious 0-0 from the penalty miss onwards. Fair play to em.
st albans fox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Drinky non existent Did you watch the game? I thought he did well with n'golo 2v 3 until the s/ off And riyad - why is he taking pens? I mean that start stop run up - the two he missed at Everton - oh hang on ......
Captain... Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Eurgh! What a waste, oh well, rest, recuperate and come back stronger, still in an amazing position so I'm just going to put it out of my mind and enjoy the rest of my weekend. See y'all later.
The Guvnor Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Basics were very poor in the first half, we have definitely lacked that early season spark for the past 3 games but we are still in the mix. Another striker midfielder and winger needed to stay in the mix.

Or did you forget he was even on the pitch for 30'?I don think acknowledging that Ulloa did create a rare chance (that Vards really should have scored, and that's assuming you even think that was a flick-on vs a shot attempt of his own) and that he was still overall mostly poor (which seems like Claudio's view, given the HT sub) are mutually exclusive.Really wish Vardy buried that chance, sigh.

matty98 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I think the pitch played a big part today, everyone falling over and then they water it more???? Ridiculous
purpleronnie Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Having not seen the recent games have other teams figured us out? i.e. Stop Vardy and Mahrez.
WhoGivesAFuchs Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 So many bad points from today, Mahrez looked like the championship Riyad, couldn't pass for toffee. Albrighton again delivering piss poor balls which is unusual from him, but id like too see him get into the box more, Kante the only good point of the game, and seriously doubting vardy, looked knackered again needs a very long rest and regain some confidence in front of goal, he doesn't seem to want to chase defenders anymore or win the ball back, he's to concerned with mahrez playing the ball into him which in in turn makes him a statue for most the game, we need to flash some serious cash now, new centre back, new winger, and DEFINATELY a new striker is needed besides vardy we dont have one quality finisher or front man in the team, Ranieri needs to get his chequebook out and sign some class acts.
johnny the fox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Every season there are a couple of games like this.. you just knew we were not going to score..thank god its the fa cup next week. . time for a mental rest for our key players.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 That was absolutely appalling I thought. So toothless and even the chances we were given for free were shockingly taken. Vardy looks like he is carrying a knock or tired, one of the two as he didn't look sharp at all. Should have buried that chance he hit the post. Mahrez was possibly for first time ever the worst player on the pitch. Wasn't passing when he should and just seemed to over egg every run and skill. And as for Dyer that was one of the worst substitute performances I have seen. Wank. And as for Ulloa pitiful. Need a striker and a winger in this window in my opinion
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Wish mahrez would give over with that stupid stutter before every penalty. Just hit the bloody thing and stop confusing yourself nevermind the goalkeeper!
