HitchinFox Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Saw Colchester recently. Terrible side, useless defence - they lost nine on the bounce before scratching a draw against Oldham in their last game. Will be a miracle if they don't go down to League 2 this season. All set for a 1-0 home win, in other words.
Kitchandro Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Good draw. Great chance of progressing if we take it seriously.Hopefully we'll get a big crowd for the replay and go all out for the win. Get to the 5th round and all of a sudden we might fancy our chances.
ScouseFox Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Get to the 5th round and all of a sudden we might fancy our chances. yeah like last year
NewquayFox Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Got to beat Spurs then plan the invasion of Colchester and take over the town...... Up the City.....
The Fox Covert Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 The draw was generally kind to the big clubs. I can't help hoping that the Sheep manage to upset Man U.
MC Prussian Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Can we beat Spurs at home first, then fantasize about Col city fan?
Livid Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Saw Colchester recently. Terrible side, useless defence - they lost nine on the bounce before scratching a draw against Oldham in their last game. Will be a miracle if they don't go down to League 2 this season. All set for a 1-0 home win, in other words. I went to their home game against Cov when we had an international break. They tried hard, had a few defensive lapses and made Cov look like Barcelona at times. George Moncur on loan from West Ham looked decent.
Bayfox Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 How many do you tickets do you think wI'll we get given can't be many surely small capacity Due to the way the segregation works there. We will get one end behind the goal so 2k. As far as I know.
fuchsntf Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Before anyone begins to saliva from places not yet discovered in the name of science, lets bring ourselves back to earth. We have....Spurs in 2 days , competing for 3pts, and to keep them at bay. A.Villa, another 3pts not yet secure. Spurs, again for the right to dream of visiting the old capital of Roman Britain. Then to stop us getting bored, another battle grand against Stoke,to wrestle another 3 points , and to have another laugh at the pundits costs. Oh, sorry Silly me, I forgot many posters dont want to join in the Fa-cup malarky, so they will have a stress free time, no, NO you arent invited anyway.......too late !!
BoyJones Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 At least if we get to Wembley there will be plenty of tickets available with so many supporters uninterested in the competition!
Donut Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Whats with all the Col City puns. Theyre not Colchester City, theyre Colchester UNITED ffs.
MC Prussian Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Whats with all the Col City puns. Theyre not Colchester City, theyre Colchester UNITED ffs. Maybe it's because he's a Colchester (Leicester) city fan? FFS.
SystonFox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Maybe it's because he's a Colchester (Leicester) city fan? FFS. Like Leicester(Liver)Pool(Villa)(wymeswoldfox)
Filbert_Ross Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 I've always presumed ColCityFan was some well fit bird called Colleen.
Nod.E Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 I'm happy with that which means we'll no doubt go and lose the replay. It's a new ground for me as well as I didn't go in League One. They're no longer at Layer Road. It's a new ground for all of us!
ramboacdc Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 if we get this far we will have a very tight schedule. but we are safe in the league and would prefer us not to be in the champions league next season....i say go for it at the spurs game and go for ths cup now. once you get past round 4 its anyones guess! who would have thought that shower at villa park would make the final?!
Voll Blau Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 They're no longer at Layer Road. It's a new ground for all of us! No, we've played at their new ground before. Tuesday night game. Used to live in Colchester so fancy this if we get through. New ground is probably my most hated lower league venue though. Miles from anywhere and nowt to it.

I went to the League One fixture and assumed they had never got promotion.
Voll Blau Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Ah, did they make it back into the Champ? I went to the League One fixture and assumed they had never got promotion. The League One fixture was at the new ground, think Dyer scored for us and Izzet's brother played for them? Season before was at Layer Road live on TV.
Stevosevic Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 The League One fixture was at the new ground, think Dyer scored for us and Izzet's brother played for them? Season before was at Layer Road live on TV. Correct and we went top that evening i think.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 I've always presumed ColCityFan was some well fit bird called Colleen. Errm errrm you never know . . . .
Nod.E Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 The League One fixture was at the new ground, think Dyer scored for us and Izzet's brother played for them? Season before was at Layer Road live on TV. Getting awfully confused. I'm thinking of the 1-1 in which Collins John scored. That must've been before we were relegated then.
Vulpecula Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Getting awfully confused. I'm thinking of the 1-1 in which Collins John scored. That must've been before we were relegated then. Championship - Layer Rd (a draw I think). Both teams then relegated. League One in their new stadium. Dyer winner.
