Jackster21 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Is that the good Palace side thhat just lost to the supposed shite Villa we face? That will make them more motivated and look where they are in the league as well. Plus that was only one game.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Scrappy low scoring game, being a pessimist I'm going for 1-1.
MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Good luck today We could use it, I don't see the Villa caving it that easily now. Well, at least not for the first 15, 20 minutes. We need to be on guard and wary of a highly-motivated team that will give their best shot at preventing relegation.
wattolcfc Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I'd take 1-0 right now, you just don't what that win might do for them!
demon_dog Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Not sure about this, my eldest son is going and he never sees city win! I'll go for a draw in that case.
Nick Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 1-3 Vardy to score first, then I'll go for a penalty won by Vardy scored by Mahrez, followed by a Mahrez goal. I don't care who scores for them as long as its not Wes Morgan.
Babylon Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I think it will be a difficult game, with them somewhat galvanised after recent events.... I'd take a scrappy 1-0 smash and grab now. I'm hoping we see us being able to open up a bit more and get back to how we played against Swansea and Newcastle before the hard run we had.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 A real opportunity to go 3pts clear at the top. I think we'll win.
Nick Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 We kinda could use these games to get a points buffer as Feb fixtures look a tad bleak! Can't see past Arsenal winning the title when looking at both fixture 'run-ins' (can't believe I'm entertaining the idea of us being contenders tbh) But finishing in the CL is a real possibility so keeping the existing 8 point buffer would be excellent. I agree with Bab's in that I'd like to see a bit more confidence and attacking flair against Villa rather than keeping it so tight as recent weeks.
foxes161 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 If we want champions league then games like this are a must win no excuses.
stevelcfc Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Reading this and most other City threads are so surreal at the moment, as a commentator once said over a piece of premier league history, “I swear you’ll never see anything like this ever again. So watch it, drink it in..." Big game, 1-2 Richards - Vardy and Drinky
J.Lisemore Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Think this will be 1-1. Can't see them being a walkover.
TrentFox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 If we want champions league then games like this are a must win no excuses.Pretty confident that's not how the background teamwill be positioning this with the playing staff!
foxes161 Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Pretty confident that's not how the background team will be positioning this with the playing staff! point still stands we can't drop points against this horrible team if we want champions league football.
Guest Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Certainly is a must win game if we have any intentions of top half table , let alone Europe.
Max Power Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 If we score early I think we'll smash them but I feel a bit of a struggle.
Libertine Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 They're at home and just won so should see them try and come at us a bit more, which is better for us. But they're shite, so i think we'll do 'em.
kingfox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I'd be extremely disappointed if we don't win today, no point underestimating them but we have the better quality and I'm expecting that will shine through today. Villa 1-3 Leicester Gil Okazaki(2) & Vardy
