Villa (Away) - Pre Match Thread

Same team, take it to them and blow them away and a strategic booking for Vardy to be suspended for the cup.

Job done.

Is that correct? Would it not be the next league game? If you're right then Vardy would be daft not to get booked at Villa

It doesn't matter about reaching 5 yellow cards after 31st December.

We have not been following tradition all season, so now to lay to rest, that we struggle against

the poorer or struggling teams.

This is where we say goodbye to those bad old days.Villa are in for the suprise, not the canny foxes.

The Villans, will be arrested, have a bad day in court, and will see the full sentence enforced.

Its been stated that our good ol King Richard was a Brummie, now hes been found and released

hes ready to go back, and make up seeking revenge for those woeful childhood memories.

This game actually has pressure on it.

We are expected to win. Itll be a test of character for us.

"We are expected to win". Even by Lawrenson?

This is a game where I am stubborn to be over-confident and worry that it could be a banana skin.. But after the game laugh at myself and say 'What the hell was I worrying about'

lets not be arrogant, take this game very serious, they just been Palace who were 5th when they beat them. we need to show up and play well.. if we do then we will win.. I have a feeling it might be close, 2-1 to us.

Not sure if Villa have turned a corner, since I've not been following them, but I'd agree we need to go out there and try to kill it fairly quickly, to prevent any momentum they may be feeling after their last win, which we should be able to do given our team's quality. I'd love to see Shinji have another great game, and boost his confidence further, giving us another scoring forward, and give Gray some time on the pitch, to boost our options on the wing.

Few mates of mine have said they looked a different side against Palace and for once showed some character and a want to win. Despite that, they can't score goals and we should have enough to beat them.

0-2

Riyad & Okazaki.

Palace were doggo from what I saw on MOTD. I know highlights don't show the whole game, but I'm not expecting any surprises from Villa.

Could be tough but i expect the win. Should we win we would only to win half of our remaining games to finish on the same number of points man u needed last year for 4th. I suspect even fewer will be needed this year.

'Leicester are 32 points ahead of Villa, subjected Spurs to a rare home defeat, have conceded only one goal in four games, are up against the league's worst attack and only Manchester City have scored more than Leicester.

For some reason though, I think this game will be different. 2-0 Villa.'

The sad thing is, that's probably accurate as well. lol
