gurru991 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I would love to see him at City. I just don't know if CR can spend that kind of money.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I would love to see him at City. I just don't know if CR can spend that kind of money. Behave..... that's chump change for the Don, say that again and you'll be swimming with the fishes
Thracian Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 BBC reporting we're happy to cough up 19 mil You sure we weren't choking on the notion!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Not sure why people are bothered about the price tag. Obviously nobody wants to get ripped off as a matter of principle but as long as he's actually good the Thais can afford it so what's the problem? They've already cleared our debt once and it's not like they're going to abandon the whole project if this guy turns out to be a flop. You've got to speculate to accumulate. It's exciting times so chill out and enjoy
st albans fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I would love to see him at City. I just don't know if CR can spend that kind of money. How much did he spend on falcao? Sh*t - I'm not allowed in this thread!
4everfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 If the owners are ambitious as they say they are then 19 million plus for a player should become a regular occurrence.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 You sure we weren't choking on the notion! I've got loads a money sketches running through my head
Grey Fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 BBC reporting we're happy to cough up 19 mil Where abouts did you see that?
ronnup Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 If we've made a bid and it's been rejected id be amazed if we didn't go back with the extra 2-3 million.
dannythefox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 If we've made a bid and it's been rejected id be amazed if we didn't go back with the extra 2-3 million. This. Also I think this is man we really want another 2/3 should get the deal done hopefully.
wigstonboues Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Just give them the whole budget and get it done!!!
ARM1968 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Up it to 17.5 million and jobs good. We need this guy. Lot of money but an investment.
Wymsey Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Not keen on chucking potential over-the-required amount of money on a player, but if he fits what he need then hey.
wiseone Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Leicester fans, I am a Nigerian football fan that knows Musa well. Here is the lowdown on him: THE GOOD: 1) Lightning pace. He is one of the fastest players in world football today. He is probably faster than even Jamie Vardy. 2) Good dribbler and excellent close control. He is most dangerous if he is given space to run with the ball. Think Mahrez with 2 yards extra pace. THE BAD: 1) His final ball/crossing can be poor at times. 2) He can blow"hot and cold". He is just as likely to put a 30 yard screamer into the top corner, as he is to put it into row Z. If you get him, he will be a solid signing and will be one of your "A-Listers" alongside Vardy and Mahrez. When you consider that Sterling went for approximately 50million, then 20 million is not that much to pay for Musa.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 He wants to come. That should be enough for them to chuck the final few million into the hat

Grey Fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 EMT Just watched it. I think they were just reporting what we already know. They said we are considering increasing our offer to 19 million that's all.

Up front or on the left wing where he seems to play a lot?
Steve Earle Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 This guy, with his pace and energy, would fit our style to a tee...Also looks like a pretty grounded individual. There's always a barrow load of rumours regarding 'possible' signings every window, but Musa would be a signing on a different level for us. My only reservation would be that we seem to be accumulating a team of attackers who have little in the way of 'physical' presence...With that in mind then Musa/Pelle might be our dream ticket to success! Agreed!

Guest Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Bored of this 'we are, we sent' speculation in the news. One minute Eder, next Remy, then Musa and then there are articles saying nome of them are joining. Do journalists just make up stories ?
