filbertstreet Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Do journalists just make up stories ? yes
Bluetintedspecs Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Bored of this 'we are, we sent' speculation in the news. One minute Eder, next Remy, then Musa and then there are articles saying nome of them are joining. Do journalists just make up stories ? Ha ha ha, is that a serious question? Making up stories is a journos greatest weapon
The Doctor Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Lightning pace but erratic product and inconsistent? We're just being conned into signing Lloyd Dyer with a wing on aren't we?
chapero82 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Lightning pace but erratic product and inconsistent? We're just being conned into signing Lloyd Dyer with a wing on aren't we? he plays in the Russian league, remember how good Kramaric looked playing in a rubbish league
The Doctor Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 he plays in the Russian league, remember how good Kramaric looked playing in a rubbish league Are people still on the Kramaric was shit line, rather than the wrong sort of player?
4everfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 he plays in the Russian league, remember how good Kramaric looked playing in a rubbish league Yeah because the Russian League is crap
gurru991 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 he plays in the Russian league, remember how good Kramaric looked playing in a rubbish league Thats the problem isn't it ? It takes a really good scout to be able to judge the player when not up against quality defense. I still believe we should be shopping in the Championship a little more as those players understand English football a little better. But if Steve Walsh likes this guy then i'm all in too.

I do believe the World Cup is a pretty decent platform to judge people on?

Never seen a player go from scoring goals in the Championship to instantly banging them in for a team trying to win the Premier League title...
MPH Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Guess we'll either cough up or have Paella. Autocorrect for Pelle, I assume?
ARM1968 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 No. I meant it. Bit of a meh dish. Can be very tasty but more often bland and disappointing.
shen Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 he plays in the Russian league, remember how good Kramaric looked playing in a rubbish league Are you insinuating that the Russian league is rubbish? And just what do you base that on?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Never seen a player go from scoring goals in the Championship to instantly banging them in for a team trying to win the Premier League title... What about the guy playing for us right now... who's been doing it for us all season long?
The Doctor Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 What about the guy playing for us right now... who's been doing it for us all season long? Hardly instantly, Vardy had a years bedding in time.
Gerard Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Leicester fans, I am a Nigerian football fan that knows Musa well. Here is the lowdown on him: THE GOOD: 1) Lightning pace. He is one of the fastest players in world football today. He is probably faster than even Jamie Vardy. 2) Good dribbler and excellent close control. He is most dangerous if he is given space to run with the ball. Think Mahrez with 2 yards extra pace. THE BAD: 1) His final ball/crossing can be poor at times. 2) He can blow"hot and cold". He is just as likely to put a 30 yard screamer into the top corner, as he is to put it into row Z. If you get him, he will be a solid signing and will be one of your "A-Listers" alongside Vardy and Mahrez. When you consider that Sterling went for approximately 50million, then 20 million is not that much to pay for Musa. I think he would do well at Leicester because we play to his strengths. We concede a lot of possession but turn the ball over a lot and break quickly. A lightening quick left winger who can dribble would do well here. If he came here teams would be scared to death of playing too high up the pitch.
HighPeakFox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 he plays in the Russian league, remember how good Kramaric looked playing in a rubbish league Proper thread this, Kramaric got mentioned.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 We should just send CSKA an email saying we are prepared to pay £19 million for their Nigerian forward. Could they send us their bank account details and password so we can deposit the money?
bald reynard Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 No more wingers, please ! Even though he scores a few goals, he's principally a wide player - we need a central striker. Mahrez's scoring record as a wide player is just as good. It's difficult enough for Gray to get a start, with the form Albrighton and Mahrez are in - and Schlupp will be back soon. We have Dyer a regular bench warmer and Dodoo on the fringe. No Musa, no Carillo - a STRIKER please ! Coupled with the price being quoted (£20m+), this really is silly.
ealingfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 The Russian league is obviously miles ahead of the Croatian league but lets not pretend the bottom half isn't absolute guff. When was the last time a Russian outfit troubled the latter stages of a European contest? (Actually more of a genuine question than a derisive challenge)

(Actually more of a genuine question than a derisive challenge) The Russian national team had an excellent Euro 2008. Unsure other than that though.
Dan Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Are you insinuating that the Russian league is rubbish? And just what do you base that on? The fact it isn't England so automatically must be shit I'd imagine. I'm not keen on this Kramaric argument. Kramaric didn't fail because he came from the Croatian league. Kramaric failed because he didn't fit our system.
