filbertstreet Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I hope not, he is about dead. faster than ulloa though
thybluefox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 It is weird that media went heavy on us trying to get Niang yet we never even submitted a bid for him. Makes it seem like there is something going on that they're working hard to keep quiet.
bald reynard Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Slimani For me he's a proven record so if we are spending big he is definitely the one to go for as he is less of a risk than anyone else who We have been linked with, and we wanted him in the summer and surely we have more pulling power now Agree with that.
Babylon Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Smokescreen my arse, we ask questions, that's it.
thybluefox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Smokescreen my arse, we ask questions, that's it. Bab's can't you just let me pretend that they know they're doing
SheppyFox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I actually hope we get him Ranieri is the the perfect manager for a potential loose cannon IMO.
GaelicFox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Daily mail said we bid £12m on this lad yesterday
Biggus Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I hope he is as quick as his name sounds........Nnnnniiiiiangggg.....built in Doppler effect!
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 The French Balotelli - I just hope he doesn't come with the same attitude.
Vlad the Fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Just goes to show that the media don't really have a clue. I should imagine a lot of these links come from enquiries we've made or players we've scouted possibly months ago, yet for whatever reasons we never followed up or progressed with and the media then try and guess what's happening once someone leaks it. For me it also shows the club are actively looking to improve the squad, asking about players availability, attitude ect, which we know the scouting team does with reference to Walshe's interview last year. Well planned methodical scouting for me, no panic or scattergun approach.
ElusiveEd Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Just posted on Sky......... 10:24 NIANG A NO GO FOR FOXES? Leicester have apparently ended their interest in signing M'Baye Niang from AC Milan. It has been reported the Foxes offered £12.2m for the forward, but Milan general manager Adriano Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sportyesterday: “This morning, I spoke to their manager Claudio Ranieri and he told me that their internal discussions had led to them deciding to drop (their interest). “I passed this on to the player and he said he was pleased to stay." I wonder if this means they have secured someone else?

AyewJoking Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Sky is about a day behind ... sky has its head in the clouds
EnglishOxide Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Starts for AC Yep. Definitely no secret business being done.
HoustonFox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Eder in Inter XI too. The strikers we could have had game...
STUHILL Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Suggests we are closing in on someone else if that story is true about Claudio ending interest. This guy could have been plan B if we failed to get someone else etc. Could be back in for him in the Summer though
roblcfc84 Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 To be fair scored and an assist despite not playing well
RedHux Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Niang is nothing like Balotelli for one. Also, he was never going to you or anyone else. He's been a regular starter here, whilst Adriano is being touted to China, Balotelli possibly being recalled despite having played about 3 games all season and Menez is made of glass. If those of a certain age can recall this fellow, Niang is like a quick Paolo Wanchope.
