talking_goldfish Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Football Italia are quoting a source saying "negotiations are advancing quickly" on this one http://www.football-italia.net/79077/reports-niang-set-leicester Reports: Niang set for Leicester Milan forward M’Baye Niang is reportedly in advanced talks over a move to Leicester City. The Foxes are in the market for a striker, but saw a move for Eder fall through when the Sampdoria striker chose to move to Inter. Late last night Sky reported that talks had been opened for Niang, and Corriere della Sera reports this morning that negotiations are advancing quickly. The newspaper reports that Leicester have bid €15m [£11.4m] for the Frenchman, and while the Rossoneri will make a decision today, the deal appears to be well-established.
AjcW Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 As long as we don't let him have a driving licence......
LCFCABC Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 It's not healthy having a team that are built up of the same characters - If the team think they can manage him then I see his attitude as a positive. I've never agreed with the whole 'maverick' or one players attitude upsetting the dressing room.... can you imagine if he stepped out of line what the reaction fro Was, Wes and Huth would be?? And Vardy and Kasper as well. I think this would be a decent signing
EnderbyFox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 If it's between this guy and spunking a few more million on Musa then i'd prefer the latter. Wouldn't get too concerned about his goal scoring for Milan though, he's been playing on the wing a lot by the looks of it.
Ric Flair Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 He looks cool as fcuk, if he slings 5 goals in the top corner in the remaining 15 games then I'll be happy.
richardsfoxes Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 The Milan fans are going crazy on twitter, must be a really good player for now/future a lot of them are angry at the price and the fact they think he is close to becoming a great player, god i hope we sign him, looks extremely talented.
EnderbyFox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 "Details of the offer from Leicester for Niang: 10M € directly, 5 in June and again 1 M in case of qualifying in C1 of the English"
kingcarr21 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I find it hilarious that he has more chance of playing Champions League football with Leicester than he does with AC Milan
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I don't expect many people to share this view but I can't see why he'd be keen to come here. If you're a highly-rated young player who seems to be on the verge of making it with Milan, it seems like it would be an odd move. Doesn't seem to be any indication yet of whether he'd be keen.

RowlattsFox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Must be annoying for Milan fans if they are selling one of their brightest talents to Leicester City.

A lot of the time I think it might just be exposure. Being able to show your self on the biggest stage around the world TV wise also I'd imagine these days prem clubs, even the smaller clubs can compete wage wise with a lot of the bigger clubs round Europe thanks to the TV money they are getting. And AC have struggled for a while, and he might see it as a chance to move on, and like it or not, use us as a stepping stone to get back into the shop window of the constant European performers.
dbtcity Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 It's one of those probably the same as kramaric with us where ive read a load of tweets disappointed with the idea of him leaving but I've also read quite a few who think they're having our pants down!!! A good few of the dissapointed ones are mainly due to him having a lot of potential rather than him being a quality player
SecretPro Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I'm all for investing in youth but that's not really what the Jan Window is for - it should be for instant impact signings and strengthening for the latter part of the season. This doesn't fit the bill for me at all, if we got him alongside someone else then fair enough but we need more than this.

(Outside) chance of winning Premier League, good chance of Champions League next season, chance to start career in Prem

Mahrez was quite young when we signed him in January a couple of years ago, maybe we shouldn't have done.
LCFC1996 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Looks like Milan have blocked the move according to Di Marzio
Thracian Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 It's one of those probably the same as kramaric with us where ive read a load of tweets disappointed with the idea of him leaving but I've also read quite a few who think they're having our pants down!!! A good few of the dissapointed ones are mainly due to him having a lot of potential rather than him being a quality player It's entirely possible his injury set him back and that's my biggest concern - whether he's fully recovered from the injury, both physically and psychologically. However, time out with injury can also be a positive in that it focuses the mind on what you've got to lose and let's you re-think your attitudes. Most posters seem to recognise this guy's a gamble but it's one we're perhaps in as good and realistic a position to take as we'll ever be. If this guy responds to the comeraderie, example, belief and encouragement around him it could be the making of him. If not it'll be like skimming a stone on water. The surface will be disturbed momentarily but blink and on looking again you'd never know a stone had been thrown.
Babylon Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Looks like Milan have blocked the move according to Di Marzio Further and further down the list we go... we'll be signing Nugent back at this rate.
Adster Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Fuchs sake. Wish it'd be easier to sign somebody..
