Manchester city.. Away.. Thoughts!

I liken this game to the away one at Burnley 2 seasons ago when they were claiming they'd get the win that would put pressure on our title chances, we binned them off with an easy 2-0 win and I fancy the same again. Vardy and Mahrez.

Hmmmm... both teams are in the same region, but I'm not sure there's a full comparison here. Mean think how many pound notes have been spent building one of these two and how Dyche's head would explode if he could comprehend the figure.

I hope we keep the 2 upfront and not bring in the extra man in midfield. Our best chance of winning this game is by exploiting their weaknesses in defence.

Agree- same team as last night. We are so much more threatening with 2 up top and I don't think the extra midfielder helps us much? Just confuses things. We look pretty solid playing 4-4-2

Got tripped the hard way by Billy Jones yesterday - ripped his sock open!

I remember the BBC live feed saying something along the line of a sluggish Yaya Touré being made a spectator by Lamine Koné.

The whole Manchester City squad is somewhat scraping by, and that also because of some absences. We're lucky De Bruyne is out injured for a while, apart from Agüero, he's been the most lively player on their books this season.

I do hope we approach this with both cheerfulness and respect. I can but assume we'll revert back to a 4-1-4-1, with maybe Inler playing right in front of our back four.

This will never happen. We will not see Inler anytime soon around the squad. He's not a happy bunny after being priced out of  load move before the window with City asking for a 2.5m Euro fee. He and Leicester City are not best friends at the minute

Considering he's still being paid £40k-ish a week probably, he'll live.

This is why they're favourites in my eyes.

They're doing it in second/third gear. When they get going then they'll surely win 5/6 on the bounce.

I'm bursting to get up to Manchester , the buzz from last night is still coursing through my veins

I'm actually shaking with excitement for Saturday !

We Should give it serious decibels during the game

So glad I booked the train now

It's not all about money, it is a European Championships year and he is in danger of losing his place if he isn't getting any game time.

It would be a shame if he is pissed off because he just wants play football, he has been a model pro so far.

Aguero looked fooked walking off the pitch yesterday. Hopefully he picked up a knock and will miss the game or at least, not be at his best. He is such a threat for them.

A win last night has eased the pressure I think, and it would not be a disaster to lose this, but of course, a win would be incredible and we should go all out to get that!

Man City looked average at Sunderland, but they have taken 28 points at home out of 36. This will be the toughest test we've faced this season, and a draw would be a fantastic result.

They tried a 4-4-2 last night and imo they were practising setting up against us and it clearly doesn't work for them and if they set up like that again I think we will win comfortably. On the other hand they are trying to copy us, ha ha ha.

Still think we can win this one though but like most will be pleased with a draw.

Vardy's confidence will be on another level after that goal. Mahrez too appears to have found his mojo.

If we go for it we could spring a surprise.

If we try to contain them then we'll probably lose.

Take a draw all day long.

I'm going 0-0

...arsenal have a tricky match away to Bournemouth.. Another draw for me!

Spuds have Watford at home which I think they'll win!

All very tight!!

Can see another Tottenham awayer on the card, they will have all the possession, a bullet type header from Morgan in the 88 minute that win us the game.

Get your money on it!

How do you know that, though?

From what I gather so far, he's been working hard in training and bit his tongue. I've never seen anything in the papers suggesting him hitting out at the club.

He'll do anything to get back into the first team and I don't think the club can afford losing his experience and roaming/blocking/interception abilities for some of the more high-profile opposition we're still to face this season (and beyond).

Oh, well aware. Really doubt he gets dropped though given he's their captain, but I certainly wish there was playing time available for him.

Claudio's comments about envisioning Inler in a 3-5-2 says it all. Benny was probably purchased under that same pretense, as the ball-playing complement to Huth and Wes.

An early prediction of a 1-1 draw. A win would be immense though.

Before I thought W - D - D for these 3 matches but I'm now thinking we'll take Man City 1 - 3 this weekend. Have to get up early......4:45am start over here

Biggest game since...?

Stoke 2008?

Tranmere 2000?

Man City 1969?

We're going away to the league favourites, 3 points clear at the top of the league in February. It's an unimaginably and improbably big game yet (admirably) nobody seems to be talking about it in these terms?

I know it's just "another 3 points" but the consequences of a win would go far beyond that.

Would be interested to know others' thoughts - is it actually only the biggest game since Tuesday? Am I massively over-selling this?

Biggest game since...?

“'At this point, every game is, arguably, the biggest game in the history of the club,' said Arlo White, who grew up in Leicester and is now the lead commentator on the Premier League for NBC."
