Chelsea away

Getting ahead of myself I know but if we wrap up the title on our last home game against Everton will we get the trophy then or will we have to wait for the final game of the season which is Chelsea away. I know there are plenty of games still left to play but the fact we're top by 3pts and have lost only twice this season it's hard not to dream. I would rather get the trophy at a rocking KP rather than a half empty Stamford bridge thoughts people

The trophy is awarded at the last home game (assuming it is wrapped up by then). I'd guess that if we have the chance to wrap it up with that game, then the trophy will be there and ready to be presented just in case.

Away at Chelsea, Claudio and the guys will get the Guard of Honour.

I'm predicting though we'll only sorta win it by beating Everton. That same matchweek is Manchester City v Arsenal.

I'm guessing that game will be played after we beat Everton, and the result will seal the title for us.

You do realise what your typing is utter madness Leicester can't win the league

This time last season every city fan would of said the same but it's been a strange season and I for one am a believer

Leicester getting a guard of honor by chelsea, then we go on to win the league at their ground in a thrilling 6-0 win. We celebrate with the trophy and then ranieri turns around towards abramavich and just smiles and waves.....

FFS over reaction Monday we had thrown away our best chance ever.

2days later will they give us the trophy or will we have to wait lol lol lol

Agreed.

This thread is the equivalent of going out on a first date and bragging before the first drink that you've brought lube along and expect S&M and your brown wings later.

If it is our hands to win the title last day of the season think you will find 40,000 will want us to win, John Terry will probably be in goal. They possibly prefer us to win it and can do us a favour against Man utd at weekend and against Spurs and City.

Out of interest... did that approach work in the end?

A lot of football between now and then, and a lot of twists and turns to come.

Let's dream but we need to live in the now, game by game, and hope we can maintain what we already have.

At least I hope the players are looking at it that way, because I hate us to think we have won it, or likely to win it, and breed complacency.

The talk coming from the players is good, sounds like they are taking it a game at a time, and talking with confidence, and acceptance of the hard work to come.

If Chelsea had nothing to play for and we needed a result to win the league do you reckon they'd give us the whole Shed End?

Can't see it. League allocations never go above a certain number. Plus I'd still expect them to sell out.

Why? Out of interest

Do you remember how it felt walking around Leicester after we lifted the Championship title?

The celebrations for that Chelsea game are going to be unreal if we get top four. If we win the league, well...
