weller54 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The feel good factor in my house is amazing, even the wife smiles now then, well not often, ok twice........... Crikey!.. Twice! Where'd you get her from?
GaelicFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Lads the craic on the wetherspoons pub was amazing yesterday The Wasilewski look a like lad leading the party was outstanding He was pumped to Fcuk see him at away games loads , beard and pumped ..... He was on top form at man city as well He was amazing in the wetherspoons Moon under Water yesterday , ramped everyone up to buzzing levels Some show lad , mind you didn't think the table was going to take your weight
filbertway Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Job done on a very slippery pitch against a good Watford side who are presently finding it difficult to find the net. Would just like to say it was refreshing to play an honest team who are not looking for a foul. A couple of occasions Christian Fuchs could have been booked or could conceivably conceded a penalty against Nordin Amrabat where he caught him late in the box but instead of falling to the floor and rolling around Amrabat regained his balance and just got on with it. He was rolling around and complaining up until the point the ref gave him a yellow to be fair.
Super_horns Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Yes - he did seem to be very fussy. Will quickly have to learn the English game isn't like playing in Spain where every touch is a foul...
foxfanazer Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I have to say QSF comes across as a great manager. Real classy bloke and has done remarkably well to integrate so many new players
DelBoy73 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Griding 3 points in a tough away fixture when we weren't looking like scoring for the whole game, that was stuff champion's are made off. Monday will be a verry good day at the office
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 We bossed that second half like champions and it was all down to Claudio - absolute tactical genius. Massive win for us and what an opportunity we now have. As Leicester fans you can't help look at the fixture list and think "that one will be tough" or "I can see us losing that one" because that's what a lifetime of supporting this club has taught us to do. But then you stop and think about it and we've lost three games all season. THREE games! I know we don't want to verbalise that we believe. We're wary of it blowing up in our faces or it not quite happening but I'm fairly certain in saying that never ever again in the history of our club will we have a chance like this to win the league.
Filbert's Friend Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I watched this game in a pub next to London Bridge. When Vardy missed the chance from Riyad's cross on around 20-odd minutes, i smacked the table and made some kind of animal-esque noise. I then had people coming up to me all game shaking my hand and congratulating me on being a City fan this season. This is just magic. Another fantastic away win, a clean sheet... And all while not even playing well. Drinky is fulfilling the promise he showed in the promotion season. Albrighton is sticking two fingers up to Villa for being cast off in such a poor error of judgement by them. Vardy's story speaks for itself. Claudio is dignified and classy after the comments in the press last summer. I could go on.
TJB-fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The more I think about this result the more I realise how valuable a 3 points it is
ithuriel Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Watfords manager always reminds me of Alexander Siddig, the Doc Julian Bashir in Star Trek Deep Space Nine.
filbertway Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Yes - he did seem to be very fussy. Will quickly have to learn the English game isn't like playing in Spain where every touch is a foul... I didn't realise you has signed Suarez till last week! That seems like a great signing, how has he been for you so far?
theessexfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Was a nightmare in the Watford end, very hard to contain myself when Mahrez stuck it away. Thought it was a top away performance, created more chances than them and never looked too troubled. Their home atmosphere is superb.
FCKtribun Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Hey guys just read about your discussion about the German language from yesterday night. I am German so I decided to sign in to your forum to wish you all the best for your title race. To be honest you have to call me something like a success hunting fan, I don't know the right English term for it, in German it is Erfolgsfan. I didn't know much about your team and club before I read about the unbelieveable story of Jamie Vardy last automn, even if I heard about your sensational series at the end of last season to avoid relegation. From you beating Manchester United on I started to deal with your games more intensively. Since you have beaten Liverpool I got into something strange..I can't describe it in an foreign language. Mayve you could say that the spirit of your run and the resignation about the evolution of my own club made me even more attracted to Leicester City. My club it's Kaiserslautern FC, we re playing in 2nd division at the moment and our chairman (?) are fvcking up the future of the whole club to describe the current situation very shortly. We have won the league for 4 times. Once was in the season after we went up from 2nd division in 1998 and you may have heard about that sensational championship. But we also got one title very similar to your situation now. In 1990 we were nearly relegated until we did a unbelieveable run at the end like you did last year. With nearly the same team and nobody giving anything on us we won the title in 1991 as one of the biggest outsiders in Bundesliga history. Some of our fans even say it was more sensational than the title in 1998. Maybe this story shows you why I am hoping so much that you're gonna do it. And it also shows that everything is possible. Surely football has changed in the last two decades. But you winning this thing with a team of -excuse me- nonames would bring back the faith and the belief that the beautiful game has not died yet completely. Please do it and you LCFC supporters enjoy every second! I wish you ALL!! the best and if you should meet Bayern Munich in Champions League next year, please do me a favour and kick the sh#t out of them!! PS: I m sorry for any mistakes!
Vacamion Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 To be honest you have to call me something like a success hunting fan, I don't know the right English term for it, in German it is Erfolgsfan. Auf Englisch sagt man "Glory Hunter" oder "Plastic fan".
Clever Fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The next 4 games are now huge and are all winnable before we face West Ham who are going well right now. I hope Newcastle don't change Manager before our game as it's likely to give them the new Manager bounce. Onwards and upwards.
holyfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Welcome to the forum. We have a good spectrum of views on here, but I am thrilled that we're getting support from people across the globe. I'm hoping this is the start of along period competing at the top end of the table. But like most foxes fans, I'm not expecting it. I think that's the difference with us. We are not complacent and I hope that should we go on to building a competitive team year in year out, that we remain grounded and not get arrogant like some of the fans of the current top teams. Thanks for the good wishes and lets hope we can bring a smile to collective footballing world come the end of the season!
holyfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Yo everybody! My name is Michael. I am an Arsenal supporter from Denmark. I may not be the "right" Gooner or supporter, but I still like to be objective, while supporting my team. And since we are nowhere near winning the title this year (either), I do hope that you guys are going to snatch it. Leicester City has been on an incredible run this year and I truly hope that you are going to win (since we aren't). So - hats off to you lot! Enjoy! And all the best to ya'! Thanks Bergkamp. Appreciate the balanced view, but I guess it helps that it would mean Spurs missing out:)
steveherbe Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Was a nightmare in the Watford end, very hard to contain myself when Mahrez stuck it away. Thought it was a top away performance, created more chances than them and never looked too troubled. Their home atmosphere is superb. Saw a few Leicester fans come over from their new stand at the end of the game, were you in there? Reminded me of Bournemouth 2 years ago when Phillips scored the only goal.
Gerard Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Bypass surgery 3 months ago and blood pressure massive tonite. Three points so happy. This is enormous. , you need to live on a deserted island for the next two and a bit months and someone to tell you how it all ended.
Gerard Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Haha what is the daily mail implying with this image... https://flic.kr/p/EkXV5Z Brilliant.
Alf Bentley Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Haha what is the daily mail implying with this image... https://flic.kr/p/EkXV5Z Rumours of Nazi infiltration at LCFC are a misunderstanding. Claudio's just accused his assistant of having a serious BO problem, and Shaky's holding his hand up and pleading guilty.
char123 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Yeah after the game was probably better than the game itself.I thought that too, imagine what it will be like against everton when we have clinched the title. We r gonna be partying in there until 10pm
Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Can't remember seeing it mentioned but did anyone hear the commentator say something about Knocky's penalty miss at Watford and say that he wasn't our usual penalty taker and Harry Kane would've taken it in different circumstances? What an idiot! Kane had probably never taken a senior penalty at that stage of his career and I'm pretty sure Nugent was still on the pitch.
