NewEnglandFox Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Great thing is that it wasn't a typical goal from Vardy, only the Chelsea goal I can remember from him attacking the near post. His first against Southampton the he headed into the bottom corner from Dyer's cross.
filbertstreet Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 He'll travel to France, but only act as a mascot. bring ronaldinho and we can have shrek and donkey
Nalis Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Roy will never, ever start with 4-4-2. Takes Lothar Mattheus (who was pretty good in the studio I thought) to mention the unmentionable re Rooney. Also, people say Kane is greedy but thats part of his game.
NewEnglandFox Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 37% possession. 19 shots to their 10. Nicking the ball in midfield and breaking quickly. Thoroughly LCFC type performance. You forgot coming back from 2 goals down... but I guess we don't do that anymore.
Spiritwalker Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 With Roy watching LCFC so many times season and seeing how effective our style of play has been it's no surprise he is implementing some of it on the national side. If we go on to win the Euros I hope we get the credit.
Carl the Llama Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Once Vardy was on it felt every bit like a Leicester performance Having a family Easter gathering I made sure to drill that notion home to Man Utd, Liverpool, & Villa fans. That last 20 or so minutes was a breath of fresh air for the national football team.

ARM1968 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Shame roy is such a Eunuch. Otherwise Rooney would be binned.
Jimothy Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 hope he starts on tuesday They said the intention was to give every outfield player a start, so expect somethings like Forster Walker Stones Jagielka Bertrand Milner Drinkwater Walcott Barkley Sturridge Vardy

foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 They said the intention was to give every outfield player a start, so expect somethings like Forster Walker Stones Jagielka Bertrand Milner Drinkwater Walcott Barkley Sturridge Vardy Hope not, I think we should go Vardy Kane upfront and just switch Henderson out for drinkwater to start... we can't go crazy and switch what looks to be an exciting team so much. Not long until the euros start now

Not long until the euros start now I know, but that's what they said in commentary, every outfield player would get a start.
Izzy Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Woy interviewed on Sky.. On Kane's goal: "Kane's goal was a piece of individual brilliance. Great skill, wonderful player, blah blah blah" On Vardys goal: "A great team goal. Clyne did a great job overlapping down the right. A wonderful move" Is it just me or has he got a real hard on for Kane and just can't bring himself to praise JV? Nob

It's a bit off not mentioning Vardy at all when talking about his goal, but Kane was always going to get praise for his.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 To be fair, Kane did it all for his goal. Jamie's finish was sublime but it was the end product of some decent team play. Get your drift though, I get the feeling that Woy would prefer it if we just pi**ed of and left the National team alone.
Bryn Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Roy looked salty as **** after both the first two goals.
Foxxed Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Perfect really. Vardy is an instant success, changes the game around, gets his first international goal, breaks his goal-less run, and is a little more rested than Spurs players.
ajthefox Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 They said the intention was to give every outfield player a start, so expect somethings like Forster Walker Stones Jagielka Bertrand Milner Drinkwater Walcott Barkley Sturridge Vardy That team looks so much poorer than today's imo. They'll make changes but hopefully not that many. Also Bertrand is injured, thats supposedly why Rose started in the first place I think.
